Full Job Description

Job Purpose :

Seeking a skilled IT Application Manager with extensive experience in managing and optimizing critical systems, including Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS), Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS), self-baggage drop, and Common-use Self-Service (CUSS) kiosks. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, integration, and enhancement of these systems within the environment.

Key Accountabilities :

1. System Management :

- Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of CUPPS, BRS, SBD, and CUSS kiosks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, workflows, and integration points to optimize passenger processing and baggage handling.

2. Integration and Interoperability :

- Oversee the integration of CUPPS, BRS, self-baggage drop, and CUSS kiosks with other systems.

- Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between these systems to enhance passenger experience.

3. System Performance and Availability :

- Monitor the performance and availability of CUPPS, BRS, self-baggage drop, and CUSS kiosks, proactively addressing any technical issues to minimize disruptions.

- Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

4. Security and Compliance :

- Implement robust security measures and protocols to protect passenger data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits for the systems under management.

5. Vendor Management :

- Collaborate with vendors to assess new releases, updates, and enhancements for CUPPS, BRS, self-baggage drop, and CUSS kiosks, overseeing their successful implementation.

- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely support and issue resolution.

6. User Support and Training :

- Provide technical support to staff and passengers, addressing inquiries related to CUPPS, BRS, self-baggage drop, and CUSS kiosks.

- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for personnel and users to ensure efficient utilization of self-service systems.

Education : B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science

Experience : 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps managing complex architecture in a multi-cloud environment.
