We are looking for a Math Educator who doesn’t just “teach Math,” but helps students think through Math .
Role Overview
You will work with students in Grades 7–10 , delivering application-oriented Math sessions that connect classroom concepts to real-world use cases, interdisciplinary learning, and future career pathways.
This role combines teaching + content creation + classroom innovation .
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Student Engagement
- Deliver engaging Math sessions (online and in-person) for Grades 7–10
- Facilitate discussion-based, application-oriented learning , not lecture-heavy classes
- Encourage students to ask questions, explore multiple approaches, and think independently
- Conduct sessions in English and Tamil (bilingual delivery when required)
2. Content Development
- Design and develop application-based Math content aligned with CBSE curriculum
- Create real-life problem scenarios, case-based questions, and interdisciplinary links
- Contribute to Adhyaapan’s Learning Transformation Framework
- Support creation of worksheets, assessments, and higher-order MCQs
3. Classroom Innovation
- Continuously experiment with new ways of explaining concepts
- Integrate examples from everyday life, careers, and emerging fields
- Align sessions with Adhyaapan’s focus on “learning how to think, not just what to learn”
4. Assessments & Feedback
- Support baseline and endline assessments
- Track student progress in conceptual clarity and application ability
- Provide actionable feedback to improve learning outcomes
5. School Engagement
- Visit partner schools in Chennai a few times per month for in-person sessions
- Collaborate with school teachers when required to ensure alignment
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of Math teaching experience (Grade 7 and above)
- 3–5 years of Math content development experience
- Strong experience with CBSE curriculum (Grades 7–10)
- Proven ability to create application-oriented Math content
- Experience teaching middle and secondary school students
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong conceptual clarity in Mathematics
- Ability to simplify complex topics through real-life connections
- Comfortable using PowerPoint and Microsoft Office tools
- Confident in conducting online classes (Google Meet or similar platforms)
- Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills
Role Requirements
- Availability to teach on:
- Weekdays (morning or afternoon slots)
- Saturdays
- Must have:
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal laptop/desktop with webcam
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model (online + in-person sessions)

Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter skills in Chemistry, including conceptual clarity and ability to explain topics across school-level curricula.
- Content development skills such as curriculum design, lesson planning, assessment creation, and using digital tools to create engaging learning materials.
- Facilitation and teaching skills, including experience leading classes or workshops, managing group dynamics, and supporting diverse learners.
