Amity University Noida invites applications for the following positions at Amity Media Studio, Amity School of Communication

1. Broadcast Engineer
2. Videographer/ Photographer
3. Newsroom or PCR Executive

The Amity Media Studio (housed primarily under the Amity School of Communication at Amity University campuses) is a state-of-the-art, professional-grade media production facility. It provides students with hands-on training in television broadcasting, film production, journalism, and digital media creation. The studio complexes comprises of Television Studio, Audio & Radio Labs, Video Editing Suites & Newsrooms & Multimedia Lab s. Th ey are well equipped with industry-standard technology to simulate real-world media environments.

Required Skill Sets:

Broadcast Engineer

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, or Broadcast Engineering
• IT-related Engineering Degrees in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, or Broadcast Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Broadcast Engineering, Television Studio, Live Production, or Broadcast IT environments
• Hands-on experience with live broadcast operations (vision mixer, audio mixer, graphics, and playback systems), transmission systems, and studio equipment
• Basic understanding of camera switching and live broadcast control

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of broadcast systems, broadcast servers, storage, and automation systems and live transmission workflows
• Knowledge of Broadcasting Chain Infrastructure- Video routers, Audio Consoles, Encoders/Decoders, Playout servers, Streaming systems, NRCS, Wasp etc
• Knowledge of audio/video systems, cameras, studio equipment and PCR technical Infrastructure
• Familiarity with networking, internet systems, and IP-based broadcasting
• Maintain and troubleshoot AV (Audio/Video) equipment and its connection with server and automation system

Videographer

Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Cinematography, Film Making, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or related field
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Videographer

Requirements:

• Knowledge of professional cameras (ENG, Field Production / Cinema cameras, DSLR, Mirrorless)
• Experience with camera equipment such as lenses, tripods, gimbals, sliders, Jimmy Jib and drones
• Understanding of lighting setups for indoor and outdoor shoots
• Knowledge of framing, composition, and visual storytelling
• Ability to shoot advertisements, promotional videos, corporate films, and social media content
• Basic understanding of video formats, resolution, and shooting techniques
• Experience in handling audio setup during shoots (preferred)
• Creativity and strong visual sense

Photographer

Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Photography, Cinematography, Visual Arts, Mass Communication, or related field
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Photographer

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of DSLR and Mirrorless cameras (Canon, Sony, Nikon, etc.)
• Understanding of camera settings:
• Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance
• Knowledge of lenses (prime, zoom, wide-angle, macro) and their usage
• Experience in shooting high-resolution commercial images for advertisements
• Strong understanding of studio lighting setups:
• Softbox, strobes, LED lights, reflectors, diffusers
• Knowledge of natural lighting and outdoor shoot techniques
• Ability to create product, fashion, corporate, and lifestyle photography
• Knowledge of framing, composition, and visual storytelling
• Experience in product photography, model shoots, and promotional campaigns
• Eye for detail, color balance, and aesthetics
• Basic knowledge of photo editing software:
• Adobe Lightroom
• Adobe Photoshop

Newsroom and PCR Executive

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field
• Experience: Minimum 5 years

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of newsroom software, teleprompter, and content management systems (CMS)
• Experience in news writing, editing, and newsroom coordination (preferred)
• Good writing, Editing, and Content structuring skills
• Knowledge of program production, scripting, and rundown preparation
• Ability to operate PCR (Production Control Room) equipment
• Knowledge of vision mixer, audio mixer, graphics, and playback systems
• Basic understanding of camera switching and live broadcast control
• Familiarity with telecast workflow, rundown, and timing control
• Ability to handle live news and program production smoothly
• Basic knowledge of broadcast software and systems (preferred)
