Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Claims Professional with strong expertise in handling banking insurance claims, particularly Bankers Indemnity policies. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end claims management, policy analysis, insurer coordination, MIS reporting, and providing technical support on various banking insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and manage claims under Bankers Indemnity (BI) Policies , including:
- Fidelity Guarantee Claims
- Crime Claims
- Theft Claims
- Infidelity & Other (IO) Cases
- Conduct detailed policy gap analysis and identify coverage enhancements, exclusions, and risk exposures.
- Liaise and negotiate with insurance companies, surveyors, loss assessors, and other stakeholders for claim settlement.
- Monitor claim progress and ensure timely submission of claim documents and follow-ups.
- Maintain and update claim databases, reports, and MIS.
- Prepare claim status reports, trend analysis, and management presentations.
- Review insurance policies and provide technical guidance on coverage interpretation.
- Handle claims and policy servicing related to:
- Property Insurance
- Electronic Equipment Insurance (EEI)
- Card Insurance Policies
- Bankers Indemnity Policies
- Coordinate with internal departments and branch offices for claim documentation and claim resolution.
- Support policy renewal and risk assessment activities from a claims perspective.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline. Insurance qualifications (III/AII) will be preferred.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in insurance claims handling, preferably in banking insurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in handling Bankers Indemnity claims , including Fidelity, Crime, Theft, and IO cases.
- Proven experience in conducting policy coverage reviews and gap analysis.
- Experience dealing directly with insurers, brokers, surveyors, and loss assessors.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Good understanding of Property, EEI, Card Policy, and other General Insurance products.
