Desired Candidate Profile

Summary: To build, maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with Government authorities, regulatory bodies, industry associations, chambers of commerce, media, institutional partners and other key external stakeholders to support Apeejay Education’s strategic objectives, brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and business growth initiatives.
1. Government & Regulatory Liaison
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Government departments, ministries, regulatory bodies, local authorities and relevant agencies connected with the education sector and allied areas
- Liaise with external authorities to support organizational objectives, approvals, institutional initiatives, and stakeholder engagement requirements.
- Track and analyse relevant Government notifications, policy developments, regulatory changes and initiatives impacting the education sector and provide actionable inputs to management.
2. Corporate Affairs & External Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including Government representatives, institutional partners, community leaders, industry influencers, and strategic collaborators.
- Support senior leadership in managing high-value external relationships and institutional representation.
- Facilitate strategic networking opportunities that strengthen Apeejay Education’s visibility, reputation and external positioning.
3. Industry Associations & Chambers Interface
- Build and manage institutional engagement with industry and trade bodies such as ASSOCHAM, FICCI, CII, PHDCCI , and other relevant chambers, councils and professional associations.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for Apeejay Education’s participation in conferences, policy forums, roundtables, working groups and industry events.
- Support leadership participation, speaking opportunities, representation and strategic collaborations through such platforms.
4. Strategic Intelligence & Policy Monitoring
- Continuously scan the external environment, including Government announcements, policy developments, industry trends, media coverage and sectoral developments relevant to Apeejay Education.
- Prepare research notes, briefing papers, stakeholder insights, background documents and actionable intelligence for leadership review and decision-making.
- Provide inputs for strategic positioning on emerging matters impacting institutional priorities.
5. Leadership Support, Events & Protocol Management
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, institutional engagements, visits and interactions involving senior leadership, Government officials, industry representatives, dignitaries and external stakeholders.
- Secure appointments, coordinate protocol requirements and ensure effective planning and execution of leadership-level engagements and institutional events.
- Support organization and management of conferences, delegations, external forums, industry interactions and ceremonial engagements.
6. Communication & Institutional Representations
- Assist in preparation of briefing notes, speeches, talking points, presentations, concept papers, statements and communication material for leadership and external engagements.
- Represent Apeejay Education appropriately at external meetings, industry forums, stakeholder discussions and networking platforms as required.
- Support initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional visibility, strategic partnerships and external goodwill.
Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a reputed institution. Additional qualification in Public Policy, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Management or related areas shall be an advantage.
Experience:
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, External Affairs, Stakeholder Management, Public Affairs or
- related functions.Experience in the Education Sector / Industry Associations / Institutional or Cor porate Environment shall be preferred.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for passionate and creative Design Interns to be part of an exciting Campus Transformation Project across the Apeejay group of schools and higher education institutions.
This internship offers an opportunity to work on live institutional projects involving architectural aesthetics, façade enhancement, campus branding and environmental design. You will help reimagine existing educational spaces by creating visually engaging, functional and sustainable design solutions—without involving major structural changes or invasive construction.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute ideas that shape the visual identity of some of India's leading educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned Apeejay schools and higher education campuses to understand the existing built environment.
- Conduct detailed visual, Internal & external review of buildings, facade, common spaces and outdoor environments.
- Develop innovative concepts to enhance the aesthetic appeal of campus façades and surrounding spaces through non-invasive design interventions.
- Recommend improvements using colour schemes, textures, lighting, graphics, landscaping, public art, signage, street furniture and other architectural elements.
- Prepare concept sketches, mood boards, design presentations, material palettes and 3D visualizations.
- Collaborate closely with the organization's in-house Design and Architecture team to refine concepts and assess implementation feasibility.
- Present campus-wise design proposals, implementation plans and indicative cost estimates.
- Maintain project documentation, site observations and design reports throughout the internship.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institution.
