About the Role
Engineer Sahab Education is looking for a dynamic and student-focused Career Counsellor who is passionate about guiding students toward the right career path. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, with the ability to understand students' aspirations and recommend suitable career programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Counsel prospective students and parents about our courses, career opportunities, and placement support.
* Understand students' educational background, interests, and career goals to recommend the most suitable program.
* Handle inbound and outbound enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and walk-ins.
* Conduct follow-ups with leads and convert enquiries into admissions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with students throughout the admission process.
* Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
* Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM.
* Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams to ensure a seamless admission experience.
* Participate in education fairs, seminars, workshops, and promotional events when required.
Required Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
* Strong counselling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
* Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate career guidance.
* Good negotiation and objection-handling skills.
* Basic knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
* Self-motivated, target-oriented, and result-driven.
* Professional attitude with a student-first approach.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA or relevant qualification is a plus).
* 1–5 years of experience in Career Counselling, Academic Counselling, Admissions, Education Sales, or a similar role.
* Experience in the EdTech or Education industry will be preferred.
