**Job Description Summary**
NAS 410 NDT Level 2 - Assistant Engineer will be responsible for executing and inspecting aerospace hardware in NDT operations in FCOE.

**Job Description**
**Role Overview:**
+ The position will report to the NDT Level 3 / Quality Manger.
+ Responsible to carry out inspections in NDT per internal QMS procedural requirements.
+ Work closely with manufacturing / production & Quality system teams to develop and implement AS 9100 procedures & systems & support driving end to end production quality flow downs.
+ Willingness to work & get qualified to Cross functional quality cells along with working with HPT teams for daily analysis of yield improvement , EHS & process improvisation projects.
+ Contribute to continual improvement through audit programs, assessment / of various non-conformances and driving corrective actions identified through Root Cause Analysis.
+ Understanding of site quality QMS procedures & policies.
+ Understanding of process & yield improvement tools like RCA , KAIZENS , 7 QC tools etc.
+ Inspecting production hardware , attending to customer complaint analysis & stock verifications where required.
+ Providing technical analysis and evaluation both manually and automatically to assigned inspection processes
+ Providing training, and support to shop operations, design and manufacturing to assure effective Quality Assurance
+ Maintaining awareness of the latest inspection techniques & processes and their beneficial and limiting aspects for optimum application
+ Pursuing continuous improvement for quality & cost reductions projects.
+ Actively contributing to non conformance event management & analysis.
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ First Class Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
+ Minimum of NDT NAS 410 Level 2 FPI or CR (RT)
+ Knowledge in Hydro pressure testing & Positive material identification
+ Min 3 + Years of Experience in Aviation industry in the fields of aviation NDT - quality inspection & product acceptance.
+ Working knowledge of AS 9100 and internal requirements.
+ Strong working knowledge of GD&T, drawings & specifications interpretation
**The Ideal Candidate:**
NAS 410 NDT Level 2 will be responsible for executing and inspecting aerospace hardware in NDT operations in Aviation department.
Providing technical analysis of customer standards and drawings and making NDT techniques.
Provide training to the trainee persons.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of AS 9100 , AMS , S1000 / S1002 standards.
+ Knowledge of Aviation / Aerospace NDT standards , ASTM Standards , working knowledge of NAS 410 qualification requirements
+ Documented OJT / past certification copies of NDT NAS 410 certification records mandatory.

**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ Basic understanding of machining processes and fixture design
+ Hands-on experience to work independently on GROB / DMG / MAZAK machines (TMC / VMC / HMC / 5-Axis)
+ Experience in operating Siemens / Mazatrol / Fanuc controllers
+ Ability to interpret part drawings and GD&T requirements
+ Ability to perform work as per SOPs, work instructions, and industry standard practices
+ In-depth knowledge of cutting tools, parameter selection, and troubleshooting

The customer finance team assists GE Aerospace customers with obtaining financing from 3rd party sources and with assessing and mitigating credit risk for the company.
1) The team interfaces with airlines, banks, funds and other financiers on asset-backed structures and unsecured financing of new and used aircraft, engines, parts and overhauls.
2) The customer finance team works with banks and other financial institutions on Letters of Credit and trade finance solutions to mitigate credit risk in GE Aerospace's commercial agreements with its customers.
3) The team provides input into our credit assessment models. These models and related activities feed into the management of customer account receivables. The team provides inputs on macro credit events and airline analysis/ deep dives for senior management reviews.
4) The customer finance team is closely aligned with its counterparts at other OEMs where appropriate on financing and asset management activity.
The position seeks to enhance GE Aerospace relationship with airline financing and treasury teams and with financiers in Asia (including China). The selected candidate is expected to work closely with the sales teams, local risk team and product line resources to support airline campaigns and the sales of GE Aerospace products and services. The role also has a strong interface with finance and controllership teams to build solutions for mitigating credit risk and with leading the portfolio management of transactions in the region.

**Role Overview:**
+ Leads interactions with financial institutions, customers, other investors to develop innovative funding solutions that solve customer problems and enable growth.
+ Work collaboratively and cross-functionally (e.g. Sales, Customer Support, Risk, Product Line, Finance) where financing is needed to support the transaction. The role will carry targets for supporting revenue, mitigating risk and enabling shop visits in the region
+ With the support of the sales team - position yourself as a trusted advisor for our customer treasury/ financing teams at airlines in Asia
+ Establish relationships with relevant ECAs and DFIs in Asia and build the case for supporting GE Aerospace and its customers
+ Manage reporting and asset management for transactions in Asia.
+ Provide inputs on Asian airlines at regional and global reviews. Work with the credit risk team on quarterly assessments of airlines.
+ Coach the in-region commercial team on financing products and market developments
**Ideal Candidate**
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable with working independently on financial transactions, engaging with senior executives at our customers and with a creative approach to solving financing challenges.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience
+ Strong network within financial institutions in Asia
+ Comfortable with financial statement analysis
+ Self-driven with an ability to cope with ambiguity. The role requires thinking across the gamut of financing solutions and/or financial participants.
+ Deal experience with both cross-border/ USD financing and local currency transactions.
+ Track record of establishing senior level relationships in customer/ client organizations
+ Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in economics, business or similar
+ Managed accounts independently in prior roles
+ Knowledge of aviation financing is not essential. However, experience with financing large tickets/ large asset/ industrial sectors is desirable. Some exposure to trade finance and Letters of Credit preferred.
+ Ability to influence without direct reporting relationships and to work collaboratively with distributed teams to deliver tangible outcomes
