Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly stock and retail planning to ensure the availability of the right product mix across the assigned territory.
  • Execute retail initiatives to improve sales performance across premium motorcycles, scooters, and other focus segments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate usage of the Enquiry Management System (EMS) by the Secondary Network and maintain data quality.
  • Coordinate and support local marketing activities, lead generation campaigns, and customer engagement programs.
  • Assist in onboarding, coordinating, and supporting Secondary Network (SN) manpower to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure implementation of Hero MotoCorp's Visual Identity (VI) standards across Secondary Network dealerships.
  • Support the execution of sales initiatives, campaigns, and business programs launched by the Head Office and Regional teams.
  • Coordinate with Area Office, Zonal Office, and dealers to ensure timely implementation of business plans and operational activities.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback, and share insights with the reporting manager.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits to monitor retail performance, resolve operational issues, and strengthen dealer relationships.
  • Support fortnightly business reviews with Secondary Network partners by preparing reports and tracking action items.
  • Organize promotional activities, customer engagement events, and retail activation programs to drive enquiries and sales.
  • Maintain sales reports, MIS, and other operational trackers to ensure timely business reviews and decision-making.

Preferred Qualification

  • Full-time MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Dealer Operations, Retail Sales, Channel Sales, Customer Support, or Business Operations, preferably in the Automotive or Consumer Goods industry.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development and execution of Corporate Affairs and Government Relations strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with government departments, regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and strategic external stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging policies, regulations, and legislative developments, assess their business impact, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Coordinate government interactions, industry representations, and advocacy initiatives while preparing organizational viewpoints on key policy matters.
  • Provide strategic communication inputs and advisory support on initiatives that may influence the organization's reputation or stakeholder perception.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment on public policy and regulatory matters.
  • Contribute to crisis communication planning and support the execution of reputation management initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Public Relations function to develop position papers, thought leadership content, and external communication that reinforces the organization's corporate image.
  • Maintain policy trackers, legislative dashboards, and risk registers to enable proactive decision-making.


What We're Looking For

  • 17+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, or External Relations
  • Post graduate, preferably Master's with specialization in Govt. Relations & Public Advocacy
  • Strong understanding of the government and regulatory ecosystem.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze policy developments and translate them into business insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong coordination, project management, and influencing capabilities.
  • Experience working with industry associations or government agencies will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, infrastructure, energy, or other highly regulated sectors will be an advantage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at the highest levels.
  • Strong executive presence with outstanding interpersonal and networking capabilities.
  • Critical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complex stakeholder environments.
  • High levels of business acumen, collaboration, and sound judgment.
