Job Title: Civil and Structural Design Engineer
Department CSA
Location: Noida
Tasks &
Responsibilities
Review ITB, Identify TQ / VE / BP, maintain log of VE / BP / LL /
Change register and update knowledge base,
Establish design philosophy, standard drawings, and work
instruction.
Manage deliverable schedule, project KPI.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions.
Perform structural analysis and design for pipe racks,
technological structures, compressor shelters, warehouse and
buildings.
Analysis and design of shallow/deep foundations for various
structures, including static equipment like vertical vessel,
horizontal vessel/heat exchanger, tanks, packages etc.
Design of cooling tower basin, sumps, pits, retaining walls, and
culverts.
Develop & review detailed structural drawings, specifications, and
calculations in compliance with industry standards and codes.
Conduct structural integrity assessments, value engineering and
risk analyses for existing and new facilities.
Perform dynamic analysis of structures, including compressor
foundations.
Perform FEM analysis using plate/solid elements & results
interpretation.
Review of design information and vendor prints.
Conduct model reviews, identify clashes, and resolve them
effectively.
Communicate with site teams and head office to resolve various
issues efficiently.
Essential
Requirements Education
B.E. / B. Tech (Civil) or M.E / M. Tech (Structures) from reputed
university / institute.
Certificate
Competency to achieve project targets and schedule.
Field engineering experience.
Experience
5 - 16 years of overall experience in civil structural
engineering.
Preferably 5 years of experience in the oil & gas,

Skills
Exposure to industry standards and international codes (e.g.,
AISC, ACI, ASCE, UBC, Euro).
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD,
SAP2000), review software (e.g., SPR, Navisworks), and drafting
tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
Exposure to modularization, dynamic analysis, precast, blast-
resistant design, and general civil activities is advantageous.
Hands-on experience in connection design with a strong
understanding of load flow.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive (feedforward)
mindset.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight
deadlines.
Experience in working / interfacing with multidisciplinary
teams.

Role Overview
The Manager – Business Development will drive the strategic growth, market
expansion, and project acquisition efforts for our large-scale thermal energy portfolios.
This role focuses on identifying industrial and utility-scale thermal opportunities
(including traditional power generation, industrial steam/cogeneration, waste heat
recovery, and emerging clean-thermal technologies), building high-value client
relationships, and leading bids from initial tracking through to commercial closure.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Strategy: Track, analyze, and forecast market trends, regulatory
frameworks, and competitive landscapes within the heavy industry and power sectors to
identify prospective thermal projects.
Pipeline Generation: Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities, including
large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, captive power
plants, and industrial utility modernizations.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite
executives, government bodies, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and private
industrial giants.
Bid & Proposal Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Estimating,
Finance, Legal) to prepare highly competitive techno-commercial bids, RFPs, and
RFQs.
Commercial Negotiation: Drive contract negotiations, risk assessment reviews, and
pricing strategies to secure profitable project margins while mitigating corporate liability.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
An MBA in Marketing, International Business, or Finance is highly preferred.
Experience: 15 to 18 years of core business development, sales, or bid management
experience specifically in utility or industrial thermal projects (Boilers, Turbines,
Generators, Gasification, or Waste Heat Recovery Systems).
Industry Network: Established relationships with major industrial clients (e.g., steel,
cement, chemicals, refineries), consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of thermal power plant cycles,
thermodynamics, fuel economics, and a developing knowledge of
decarbonization/transition technologies (e.g., biomass co-firing, carbon capture).
Commercial Acumen: Deep familiarity with project financing, financial modeling (IRR,
NPV), and standard heavy-engineering contracting terms (e.g., FIDIC contracts).
