Position Summary

As Manager / Senior Manager – Global Infrastructure Partnerships, you will play a critical role in building and managing PayGlocal’s global payments infrastructure ecosystem. This role focuses on managing strategic relationships with infrastructure partners including virtual account providers, FX liquidity providers, alternative payment methods (APMs), card schemes, and domestic payment rails that power PayGlocal’s cross-border payments stack.

You will own the supply side of the business — ensuring PayGlocal has the best available infrastructure to deliver seamless, compliant, and scalable payment solutions to merchants. This role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship management, and operational understanding of cross-border payments infrastructure.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in payments infrastructure, banking alliances, partnerships, or global payment operations who thrive in fast-paced fintech environments and enjoy solving complex ecosystem challenges.

What will you work on ?

• Global Infrastructure Partnerships: Own and manage strategic relationships with global infrastructure providers including virtual account providers, APM aggregators, FX liquidity providers, card schemes, and domestic payment rails.
• Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate and manage commercial terms, pricing structures, SLAs, settlement terms, and operational frameworks with infrastructure partners.
• Partner Performance Management: Continuously monitor partner performance across uptime, transaction success rates, pricing, settlement efficiency, and operational responsiveness.
• Supply-Side Strategy: Drive infrastructure expansion strategies by identifying new partners, evaluating capabilities, and enabling scalable integrations across geographies and payment methods.
• Operational Coordination: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, integrations, and ongoing partner management.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency, cost optimization, redundancy, and transaction success rates across the payment ecosystem.
• Market & Ecosystem Intelligence: Stay updated on emerging trends in global payments infrastructure, APMs, FX, acquiring, and cross-border payment innovations.
• Risk & Compliance Alignment: Ensure infrastructure partnerships comply with internal risk standards, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prioritize infrastructure improvements, issue resolution, and strategic initiatives.
• Strategic Expansion : Support PayGlocal’s expansion into new geographies, currencies, and payment methods through robust infrastructure partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in payments, banking alliances, infrastructure partnerships, cross-border payments, or fintech ecosystems.
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of global payments infrastructure including virtual accounts, FX, APMs, card schemes, acquiring, and settlement flows.
• Commercial Acumen: Experience negotiating commercial agreements, pricing structures, SLAs, and partnership contracts.
• Partnership Management: Proven ability to manage strategic external relationships and drive operational excellence with partners.
• Technical Understanding : Good understanding of APIs, payment flows, integrations, reconciliation, and operational dependencies within payment ecosystems.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to navigate complex operational and commercial challenges.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to engage senior stakeholders and global partners.
• Execution: Strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently in a high-growth environment.
