Job Title: Projects Head (AVP/VP Grade) – Sustainability & Environmental Infrastructure


Location: Hyderabad (Requires extensive travel across project operations)

Reporting to: CEO / COO


About the Role: Client is a leading organization in the environmental solutions sector seeking a highly accomplished techno-commercial leader to join them as Projects Head. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, delivery, commissioning, and operational integration of large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects. This pivotal role oversees an annual portfolio exceeding ₹1,000 Crores in CAPEX and OPEX projects across multiple business verticals. You will drive the successful execution of 20+ concurrent projects across 20+ locations, spanning Waste Management, Waste-to-Energy (WTE), Collection & Transportation (C&T), Processing & Disposal (P&D), Compressed Bio Gas (CBG), Recycling, and Utilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Project Lifecycle: Manage everything from conceptualization, engineering, and procurement to construction, commissioning, stabilization, and operational handover.
  • Multidisciplinary Execution: Oversee Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical execution activities, including plant infrastructure, utility systems, equipment installation, and automation systems.
  • Specialized Infrastructure Implementation: Lead the setup of Waste-to-Energy (WTE) systems (such as RDF plants and thermal treatment systems), Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) projects (anaerobic digestion plants and gas purification), and Processing & Disposal (P&D) infrastructure (MRF facilities, landfills, and composting units).
  • Logistics & Support: Manage Collection & Transportation (C&T) infrastructure projects, including transfer stations, route optimization systems, and fleet facilities.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Coordinate seamlessly with EPC contractors, technology providers, consultants, OEMs, and government authorities to ensure project success.
  • Governance & Compliance: Drive project planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation while ensuring strict adherence to timelines, SWM Rules, environmental regulations, pollution control norms, and rigorous HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
  • Team Leadership: Build and guide high-performing multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, commercial, maintenance, and operations.
  • Business Development Support: Assist in technical proposals, feasibility studies, DPR reviews, project costing, and bid management.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: A Master’s Degree in Engineering is mandatory. An MBA, PGDM, or a master's degree in project management is highly preferred.
  • Experience Level: 20+ years of proven experience in large-scale CAPEX and OPEX project execution and engineering management.
  • Industry Background: Strong experience in Waste Management, WTE, CBG, environmental infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, or EPC projects. Proven background handling integrated municipal solid waste management projects is essential.
  • Regulatory & Government Acumen: Experience handling government projects, municipal contracts, environmental approvals, and regulatory compliance is required. Experience in PPP projects, concession agreements, or urban infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.

Job Title: Executive Secretary to MD

Designation : Executive Secretary

Overview:

Executive secretary to MD is responsible for organising and managing daily activities like calendar scheduling, arrangements and providing the needed support to MD. This role is also responsible for ensuring alignment and healthy relationships with stakeholders and communicates on behalf of MD.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. To organize and manage daily activities which include scheduling and organizing meetings and conference calls, including arrangement of logistics, meeting space, communication and catering.
  2. Calendar management
  3. To coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external parties all heads, provide effective administrative support to ensure smooth operation.
  4. To provide support to the MD in the follow up and completion of departmental work plans
  5. Participate in review meetings and help prepare minutes and track follow up tasks mainly using MS Teams.
  6. Ensuring alignment and healthy relationships with stakeholders and communicates on behalf of the MD
  7. Keep track of tasks assigned to team members and follow up activities with other support functions, business units, partners, customers etc.
  8. Play a key role in the formatting and presentation of corporate materials and documents.
  9. Day to day planning calendar and work planning and organization of the Managing Director's Work.
  10. Dealing with the Managing Director's post and correspondence.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure complete process reporting and review on time with a summary
  2. To conduct research/ analysis as directed by the MD using AI platforms
  3. To arrange and manage other supporting activities as assigned by the MD.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any stream (must), MBA (prefrred)


Key Requirements:

  • 15–18 years of experience in a similar role or related domain
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior experience supporting C-suite executives is mandatory
  • Stable career history (candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered)
  • Age criteria: 32–40 years (maximum)
  • Must be based in or around Andheri, or willing to relocate to Andheri/nearby areas

Industry Experience

Project Setup & Execution

Must lead the Entire setup of the Biofuel/Ethanol Manufacturing unit, including development & plant construction, machinery procurement, and commissioning.

Responsible for ensuring timely completion, regulatory clearances, and adherence to environmental and safety standards.


Operations Management

Post-establishment, oversee the Entire Operations of the unit, including production, maintenance, logistics, compliance, and quality control.

Ensure high operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability standards.


Regulatory & Government Liaison

Strong knowledge of Biofuel policies, environmental regulations, and government subsidy schemes (e.g., Ethanol Blending Programme etc.,).

Build relationships with Government Departments, Oil marketing companies (OMC’s), and regulatory authorities.


Financial Oversight

Manage the entire financial performance of the company including budgeting

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: CA / CMA / MBA Finance from a reputed institution. Additional certifications in Treasury or Project Finance are a plus.
  • Experience: 15–22 years of deep expertise in Corporate Finance, Debt Syndication, or Corporate Banking.
