Job Opportunity: State Coordinator
Location: Remote (Meghalaya-based candidates preferred)
Joining: Immediate
Employment Type: Contractual (4 Months, extendable based on project requirements and performance)
Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in training, education, project coordination, or community development.
Education: Graduate in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Facilitation
- Conduct engaging training sessions for students of Classes IX–XII in schools across Meghalaya .
- Plan and facilitate training programs using interactive and participatory learning methodologies.
- Ensure effective delivery of training content while encouraging student engagement and participation.
2. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with schools, education officials, and local stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation.
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities across the state.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, government departments, and community stakeholders.
- Represent Samvedna Development Society (SDS) professionally and ensure effective communication with all project partners.
- Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare activity reports, attendance records, photographs, case studies, and other project documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records and submit timely progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with organizational reporting standards and documentation requirements.
5. Field Implementation
- Travel extensively across Meghalaya to conduct training sessions, school visits, monitoring activities, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure smooth and effective implementation of project activities at the field level.
- Identify field-level challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and online meeting platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning, coordination, reporting, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with schools, government officials, and community stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a remote work environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Language Skills
- Fluency in English and Hindi .
- Knowledge of local languages of Meghalaya will be an added advantage.

Experience: 2–3 years in NGO or CSR-based project management roles.
Education: Graduate in any discipline with a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent.
Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
Language Requirement: Marathi is mandatory

As a Project Manager at Samvedna Development Society, you will lead the on-ground implementation of development projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure effective execution aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Lead on-ground implementation of projects from the state office.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables with adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with field teams, local stakeholders, and CSR partners to monitor progress and resolve challenges.
CSR Coordination
- Organize and facilitate partner field visits, maintain timely communication, and provide necessary documentation.
- Foster strong relationships with CSR partners and community members to enhance collaboration and project success.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare high-quality narrative reports, impact case studies, success stories, and quarterly/annual reports.
- Maintain accurate and updated project documentation, dashboards, and MIS.
Budgeting & Finance Oversight
- Assist in preparing project budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain financial records.
- Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure transparent fund utilization and compliance with financial guidelines.
Administrative Support
- Support operational activities, local coordination, and vendor sourcing.
- Maintain partner records, internal trackers, and administrative documentation.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong budgeting and basic accounting knowledge.
- Familiarity with CSR compliance and donor reporting requirements.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
