Senior Manager – Fleet Operations

Job Purpose-
To manage the end-to-end operations, maintenance, utilization, and profitability of fleet comprising mechanized cleaning equipment and operational vehicles deployed across large manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, commercial establishments, and client locations. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum fleet availability, preventive maintenance, asset lifecycle management, cost optimization, statutory compliance, and P&L performance while supporting uninterrupted facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations Management
- Manage the complete fleet of mechanized cleaning equipment and operational vehicles deployed across client locations.
- Oversee the deployment, utilization, relocation, and replacement of fleet assets based on business and site requirements.
- Ensure optimum fleet availability with minimal downtime to support uninterrupted facility management services.
- Monitor fleet productivity, utilization, and operational efficiency across all regions.
- Establish standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for fleet management and asset utilization.
- Ensure timely preventive maintenance, calibration, servicing, and repair of all cleaning equipment.
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts, consumables, batteries, chargers, brushes, motors, and accessories.
Vehicle Fleet Management
- Manage the operational fleet comprising utility vehicles, pickup vans, service vehicles, water tankers, waste collection vehicles, and other support vehicles deployed at large manufacturing and industrial sites.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, insurance, permits, fitness certificates, pollution certificates, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate breakdown support and ensure minimum turnaround time for repairs.
- Implement GPS-based monitoring and route optimization wherever applicable.
Maintenance & Asset Lifecycle Management
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all fleet assets.
- Coordinate with OEMs, workshops, and service partners for repairs and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Track asset lifecycle, maintenance history, warranty, depreciation, and replacement planning.
- Improve fleet uptime through proactive maintenance and reliability initiatives.
P&L and Cost Management
- Own the fleet operations P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor and optimize operating costs related to maintenance, fuel, spare parts, rentals, AMCs, manpower, and capital expenditure.
- Analyze cost per machine, cost per vehicle, downtime costs, and utilization trends to improve profitability.
- Drive continuous cost optimization without compromising service quality.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage OEMs, transport vendors, service providers, and equipment suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, AMCs, spare parts contracts, and service-level agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance based on quality, response time, uptime, and commercial effectiveness.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for all vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain complete documentation related to insurance, permits, warranties, maintenance records, and safety inspections.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and conduct regular operator and driver training programs.
Operations Support
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Regional Teams to ensure timely deployment and availability of fleet assets.
- Support new business mobilization by planning and arranging equipment and vehicle deployment.
- Ensure uninterrupted operational support for large manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, airports, and commercial properties.

The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures across all client locations. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, promotes a strong safety culture, minimizes workplace risks, and supports business continuity through effective safety management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws, statutory regulations, and client safety requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across sites.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed investigation reports and recommend preventive measures.

- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety standards.

- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and client representatives during inspections and audits.
- Monitor environmental compliance related to waste management, pollution control, water, energy, and hazardous material handling.
- Prepare monthly EHS performance reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
- Drive safety awareness campaigns and promote a "Zero Harm" culture across all locations.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and safety non-conformities
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science or equivalent.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Environment Management, or NEBOSH/IOSH Certification preferred.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Environment, Health & Safety.
- Experience in Facility Management, Manufacturing, Industrial, Healthcare, Commercial Buildings, or Infrastructure Projects preferred.
- Experience in handling multi-location operations and client-facing environments will be an advantage.
