About the Role:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Essential:
• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum 15 years of teaching and research experience, with at least 5 years in academic administrative roles (HOD/Dean/Associate Dean/Principal/Director).
• Minimum 10 peer-reviewed publications in UGC-CARE/Scopus-indexed journals.
• Successfully guided at least 2 Ph.D. candidates.

Desirable:

• Expertise in OBE, CBCS, curriculum design, and academic audits.
• Familiarity with NAAC/NBA/NIRF and other quality frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead academic teams and drive institutional growth.
• Experience in academic collaborations and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the academic planning, implementation, and quality assurance processes of the university.
• Oversee curriculum design, OBE, CBCS, and academic regulations in alignment with UGC/AICTE norms.
• Drive accreditation, ranking, and quality initiatives (NAAC, NBA, NIRF).
• Foster academic innovation, digital learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Mentor faculty, promote professional development, and ensure academic compliance.
• Facilitate national and international collaborations, academic MoUs, and student/faculty exchange programs.
• Contribute to institutional strategy, policy formulation, and academic excellence.

Tenure: 3–5 years (renewable based on performance)

Age: Preferably below 62 years (relax able as per norms)
