Job Description

Job Title: Senior Underwriter – Residential Mortgage.

Location: Pune & Mumbai (Work from Office – Night Shift aligned with US hours)

Experience: 5+ Years

Industry: US Mortgage / Residential Underwriting

Key Responsibilities

  • :Review and verify all loan applications and supporting documents
  • .Analyze credit, income, and asset documentation including 1040s, K1s, bank statements, and other financial records
  • .Identify risks and inconsistencies within mortgage loan files
  • .Perform both AUS (DU, LP) and manual underwriting
  • .Run and analyze fraud detection reports (Fraud Guard, Fraud Manager, DRIVE)
  • .Ensure compliance with agency guidelines (FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC, USDA)
  • .Apply internal credit policies, TRID, and mortgage regulatory standards
  • .Accurately document underwriting decisions and communicate conditions or declinations
  • .Maintain high-quality output with minimal supervision under strict timelines
  • .Collaborate with internal teams and respond to client inquiries professionally
  • .Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager

Required Skills and Experienc

  • e:Minimum 5+ years of recent US Residential Mortgage underwriting experienc
  • e.Sound knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC, USDA guidelines and Non-QM product
  • s.Strong experience in compliance, disclosures, closing documentation, or post-close due diligenc
  • e.Excellent analytical and documentation skill
  • s.Familiarity with LOS platforms such as Encompass, BytePro, Calyx, Empower, Lending Q
  • B.Strong understanding of US mortgage regulatory changes and TRI
  • D.Ability to work in high-volume environments and meet deadline
  • s.Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and time-management skill

About the Role

This is a pure hunter role focused on generating new business opportunities within the US staffing and workforce solutions market.

What You'll Do

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Schedule and conduct discovery meetings with hiring managers, HR leaders, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of business development experience within the US Staffing or Workforce Solutions industry.
  • Proven success in acquiring new clients through outbound sales.
  • Strong cold-calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting skills.
  • Experience selling staffing, recruitment, RPO, MSP, or workforce solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and highly target-oriented.
  • Experience working with or selling into MSP programs is highly preferred.
  • Existing network or relationships within the US staffing ecosystem will be an added advantage.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with VMS/MSP environments.
  • Knowledge of the US staffing lifecycle and contingent workforce programs.
  • Ability to work independently during US EST business hours.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as ZoomInfo, JobDiva, HubSpot, or similar.
