Responsibilities :

• Teach keyboard fundamentals to children aged 4–14 years through live online classes.

• Help students learn basic concepts such as:

o Notes and finger positioning

o Rhythm and timing

o Simple melodies and songs

• Create a fun, encouraging, and interactive classroom environment .

• Ensure students enjoy the learning process and feel motivated to practice.

• Adapt teaching pace based on individual student needs.

• Conduct demo sessions for parents and students.

• Take group and one-on-one classes based on availability.

• Track student progress and share simple feedback when required.

Music Knowledge & Skills (Beginner-Focused) :

• Strong understanding of keyboard basics and fundamentals .

• Ability to teach absolute beginners patiently and step-by-step.

• Comfort demonstrating concepts slowly and clearly.

• Background in music (formal or informal) is a plus. Formal degrees in music are preferred but not mandatory .

Communication & Teaching Fit:

• Good spoken English (additional languages are a plus).

• Friendly, patient, and child-centric approach.

• Willingness to learn and follow TalentGum’s structured curriculum and training .

• Ability to keep young learners engaged in an online setting.

Chess Knowledge & Skills

Role Summary

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Music Curriculum Developer to design structured, engaging music programs for children aged 5–14. The role requires formal training in music, strong theoretical grounding, and a proven track record of curriculum development.

Must-Haves (Requirements)

• Formal training in music from a recognised institution
• Solid grounding in music theory and ability to structure it into lesson plans.
• Demonstrated experience in music curriculum development , ideally for children/young learners.
• Currently active in the field of music education/curriculum design (not disengaged).
• Reliability and ability to deliver independently and consistently.
• Prior work with edtech companies or K–12 schools .
• Familiarity with blended learning approaches (online + offline).
• Experience creating interactive, age-appropriate lessons .
• Comfort with digital tools for content creation/delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive music curriculum modules (theory + practical).
• Translate music theory into structured lesson plans for young learners.
• Ensure content quality, accuracy, and adherence to global benchmarks and standards.
