Job Overview

A global technology company is looking for a Supervisor & Operator (RSOC) in Pune, Maharashtra to manage following activities at their Regional Security Operations Centre:


· Monitoring and investigating alarms received from access control and video management systems.

· Dispatching field personnel in response to alarms, emergencies, and calls for service; alerting emergency responders as needed

· Assisting personnel with access control issues

· Ensuring timely communication of all major and minor events; notifying the appropriate response resources as directed by procedure

· Monitoring and maintaining life safety and access control systems

· Generating work order and maintenance requests according to RSOC process

· Conducting routine audits of readers, cameras, and other related devices

· Monitor corporate security email inboxes, service central request & coordinate with security ops team. Follow up on service tickets till closure.

· Manage Internal Security Emergency number & coordinate response.

· Support the PACS badging function on Lenel

· Receive security alerts from International organizations like ISOS , Control Risk & escalate if necessary

· Coordinate with global travel SOC.

· Troubleshooting and facilitating problem resolution

· Ensuring the safety of employees locally and abroad by monitoring domestic and global events

· Preparing all required written reports, including but not limited to: activity reports, incident summary reports, and all required logs

· Collaborating with Manager to identify process and quality improvements

· Perform other duties and special project functions as assigned


Qualifications

· Associate’s degree or above required

· Strong knowledge of computer operations and applications, including MS Office, Internet Browsing, and the ability to quickly understand security systems

· Attendance and punctuality are essential and expected

· Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely over the phone and radio

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and level-headed manner

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team

· A dependable team player with professional maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive and proactive attitude

· Comfortable with high-tech work environment and constant learning of new tools and innovation

· A highly flexible schedule; must be able to work additional time, weekends, and holidays as required by operations
