Retail Segment Manager (all genders)

LOCATION : Thane, India

JOB TYPE : Permanent


GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

Create demand and effective positioning for Envu products in the retail segment.

Implement optimal sales strategy to build sales penetration in online and offline retail.

Build trust and value in the market for primary and secondary customer and key stakeholders.

Build a strong sales team and process for high pace sustainable growth in the retail segment.


YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:


Growth Strategy:

Build and implement a pan-India growth strategy for retail segment based on the market analysis, product portfolio and industry dynamics for both online and offline markets.

Analyze and foresee future market trends and prepare a sales budget in line with the growth objectives to continuously improve market share.

Collaborate with Portfolio team to create a sharp product portfolio which addresses the market gaps and enable us to build sales in a scalable and sustainable manner.


Sales and Distribution:

Implement the growth strategies to build the Envu brand and generate demand from the end users.

Plan and drive the secondary sales in collaboration with the distributors and Project Officers

Achieve sales objectives as per the calendarized plan by implementing the segment wise strategies

Identify new opportunities in the market and convert into business while ensuring compliance

Communicate the sales incentive/promotional schemes to the customers and document the same; monitor progress to get maximum sales benefits from the schemes


Team Management:

Create sales team planning and reporting process to ensure effective team management.

Ensure optimal utilization of Project Officers to build sales and market penetration.


Collaboration & Learning:

Work collaboratively with other team members to effectively convert sales opportunities into sales

Share the best practices and the success stories with the rest in the organization for the benefit of all



ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?


Main requirements:


Masters in Business preferred

8+ years experience with operational leadership in retail sales

First-hand experience in sales and retail team management

Excellent business acumen, start-up experience valued

Demonstrated success in project management; leading design and implementation of strategic initiatives

Experience in working with digital business systems, use of digital tools for business planning and sales reporting

Strong quantitative ability, data-first mindset

Ability to drive results in a multi-stakeholder setup

Strong analytical ability to breakdown complex business problems and design structured process/solutions

Willingness to work extensively with sales and operations teams to execute strategies

Strong ownership and desire to win
