The Role: Senior Software Developer
The Team:
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled senior software engineer for Sustainable1. This developer would help us to accelerate our ESG Analytics work.
The Impact:
As a developer, you will be part of a development team that manages and supports the internal applications that is supporting ESG datasets. This role expects a candidate to handle any data processing, big data application development.

Responsibilities:
- Design, and implement software components
- Perform analysis and articulate solutions
- Design underlying engineering for use in multiple product offerings supporting a large volume of end-users
- Develop project plans with task breakdowns and estimates
- Manage and improve existing solutions
- Solve a variety of complex problems and figure out possible solutions, weighing the costs and benefits
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in application development
- Strong React, Java and SQL skills
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
- Familiar with oracle database, able to write optimized SQL queries.
- Proficiency needed in React - 18 or more, NodeJS, Yarn/NPM, jQuery.
- Should have knowledge about MVC JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS)
- Unit Testing with Jest
- Expert level command expected on HTML5/CSS3, Experienced with responsive, adaptive and cross-browser design
- Thorough understanding of DevOps concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Java + Spring Boot based backend systems.
- Familiarity with AWS or any other cloud concepts
