This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following.
- Experieince working in a End User computing environment with focus on Colloboartion and communication technology enabling Hybrid Working.
- Leading work-streams on transformational programs and ensuring conformance to agreed design standards, methods, and tools, including prototyping new tools and applications where appropriate.
- Lead a globally distributed team of specialist domain engineers & partners, from a position of technical authority.
- Key competencies to include coaching, influencing senior stakeholders, managing time & priorities, conflict management, commercial / bid awareness, excellent presentation delivery and technical writing.
- Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
- Product Management and
Agility
- Manage each project’s scope and timelines.
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Guide Engineering teams to higher scrum maturity
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
- Financial Management
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Provide variance analysis comparing actual technology spend versus plan, forecast, and prior year.
- Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modeling to support reporting of the operation and capital spend. Including assisting in business case preparation and submission for financial investment.
- Complete monthly close process including accruals and adjusting entries.
- Risk
Management
- Plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for the department
- Make risk assessments, which involves analysing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business
- Evaluate risk, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organisation such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors, and evaluate previous handling of risks
- Report risk in an appropriate way for different audiences, so they understand the most significant risks, to business heads to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the business and to individuals to understand their accountability for individual risks
- undertake corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders
- Support
Management
- Drive support value with our Managed service provider to ensure they meet all our SLA and XLA.
- Providing Engineering and product support to the Managed service provider.
- Enable Managed service provider to keep our systems evergreen
- Support Managed service provider during P1 incidents.
We are looking for professionals with these skills to achieve our goals. If you have them, we would like to speak to you.
- Must have at least 10+ years’ experience Designing, Implementing, Configuring, Testing, Migrating & Securing IT technologies around End user computing, Windows workstation, Office 365, File, Print, Telephony.
- Work with external vendors to successfully manage the platforms.
- Fluency with Security and compliance products.
- Understanding of networking connectivity including firewalls and DNS .
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to describe complex & abstract technical concepts up to board level.
- Ability to influence outcomes and gain buy-in for new initiatives and ways of working.
- Effective product mindset, with capability to advocate and drive key product innovations or opportunities with the developer community.
Basic Qualifications:
- Preffered Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, other relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ Years of Total Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrable thought leadership & passion for Modern Workplace services, Collaboration and Communication Services
- Strong awareness of service delivery concepts (e.g. ITIL service management)..
- Knowledge of hardware technologies utilized in manufacturing, supply chain, and consumer relevant environments.
