**What You Will Work On**
As an Analog Layout Engineer, you will create physical layouts for integrated circuit designs that help bring new TI products to life and make our customers' visions a reality. Looking for a 3+ years experienced Engineer with good understanding of analog layout, passion to apply knowledge and build ICs and well versed with layout related flows, to join the 2.6B$ Power Business Unit where in the candidate will get to work on a wide range of exciting products such as PMICs, Linear and Switching DC-DC converters powering the next generation of most sought after phones and hand held devices. **Knowledge and skills:**
+ Full chip layout experience from definition through release of IC to production
+ Strong LVS, DRC, ERC, and antenna debug skills
+ Proficient in analog and mixed-signal layout techniques and verification process including Device Matching, Power Bus design, avoiding Cross-talk, ESD/LU protection techniques
+ Good understanding about all layout parasitics (R, C, diodes, BJTs)
+ Good understanding of device physics and semiconductor fabrication process
+ Must have worked on some of the Technologies like: 40nm, 65nm, 90nm, 130nm, 180nm, BiCMOS, BCD
+ Should be well versed with tools such as Virtuoso XL/Assura /PVS/Voltas
+ Ability to quickly ramp up on new tools/ process and mentor LEs
+ Experience in automation/ SKILL coding for reducing cycle time/ quality checks will be an added advantage
+ Requires excellent teamwork, good communication, strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
+ Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery

# Job Summary:
In this role, you will participate in the design and preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, graphic presentations and Plant Design and Piping (PD&P) drawings. You will originate basic deliverables and documents and verify compliance of pipe configurations and manufacturers' drawings. Your efforts will contribute to ensuring PD&P design meets industry best practices and compliance standards.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Performs engineering tasks, within a discipline, having some degree of complexity. Performs assignments, which have clear and specific objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables for an engineering discipline within a global business unit.
+ Participates in the operation of a small size design group in a discipline. Requires a good knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, SP3D/Revit, 2-D and 3-D CAD, reading of drawings and reproduction methods used by the discipline.
+ Directly performs the work includes the preparation of layouts, study drawings, nozzle orientations detailed 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models and construction drawings.
+ Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe plant operation and construction economy.
+ Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort. Coordinates to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents. Reviews or defines engineering scope changes, as required, for project management. Supports the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
+ Understands the inter disciplinary coordination on the project. Follows ES&H guidelines.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ A recognized degree in a job-related engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited college or university, or a professional license in an appropriate engineering or scientific discipline from a recognized licensing board, or specialized courses in relevant general engineering, design or science or an appropriate engineering discipline.
+ Minimum 5 Years of experience as Piping Layout Engineer.
+ Experience of working on OG&C, Semiconductor, Data Center, Mining & Metal or Power projects will be an additional advantage
+ **Competency:** Communication, Development, Engagement, ES&H, Self-Discipline, Teamwork, Values & Covenants
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Broad progressive work experience in design engineering, science or other relevant types of engineering such, field engineering or engineering/construction firms.
+ Broad knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to the discipline. Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, plant layout and piping materials for development of piping deliverables. Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to selection of design features within the discipline. Knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines. Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved.
+ Knowledge & experience of SP3D/Revit modelling is mandatory for this position.
+ Knowledge of BIM and Plant 3D applications will be an added advantage.
