We’re seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to join the marketing team at illumine. You will help bring our brand stories to life through edited video content, dynamic motion graphics, animated social assets and more. You’ll work closely with the content creators, designers, and cross-functional marketing stakeholders, turning concepts into polished final deliverables that support our global growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage and assemble it into engaging short-form and long-form videos (for social, website, webinars, product demos).
• Design and animate motion graphics, kinetic typography, transitions, lower-thirds, intros/outros, to elevate video execution.
• Collaborate with scriptwriters, designers and marketing leads on storyboards, style-frames and visual concepting.
• Maintain brand consistency: adhere to brand guidelines (visual style, motion style, typography, colour) and apply across video outputs.
• Optimize final video assets for multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, website) including correct formats, size, aspect-ratio, motion length.
• Manage media and project files: asset organisation, version control, media backup.
• Stay updated on motion graphics and video editing trends, AI tools and best practices; bring fresh ideas to the team to elevate our visual output.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics (ideally 3+ years)
• Strong portfolio showing motion graphics + video editing work (animated logo sequences, social video ads, explainer videos, etc).
• Mastery of industry-standard tools: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro (or equivalent AI tools that give similar outputs)
• Strong design fundamentals: composition, colour theory, typography, motion timing and storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience working in SaaS or B2B marketing context (preferably globally).

Senior Video Editor - Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who can take raw energy from campus events, testimonials, reels, and regional footage, and shape them into cinematic, emotional, and on-brand visual narratives. You’ll be the go-to editor for regional brand content and will help shape how students, parents, and educators see NIAT across India.

As a core part of the NIAT creative team, you’ll collaborate closely with cinematographers, motion designers, and content creators across multiple campuses. You’ll be mentored by NIAT’s Central Senior Editors and aligned with the broader brand tone and storytelling language developed at HQ.

What You'll Do

• Edit campus videos across formats: event films, testimonials, podcast, social media reels, vlogs, and montages
• Craft compelling narratives with strong rhythm, emotional pacing, and brand-aligned aesthetics
• Maintain visual consistency and excellence across regional content deliveries
• Collaborate with campus producers and cinematographers to understand the shoot context and intent

Jolt is an iOS app that helps people take back control of their screen time. Video is how people find us, understand us, and download us, from Reels and Shorts to paid ads and product films. You would own the edit across all of it.

What You'll Do

• Cut across formats. Short-form for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, performance ads for Meta, UGC, product and feature videos, YouTube, and whatever the next channel turns out to be.
• Own the full edit: pacing, captions, sound design, footage selection, and motion where it earns its place.
• Work at volume and switch gears fast. Some weeks are ten shorts. Some weeks are one film that has to be right.
• Use whatever gets the result. AI generation, stock, motion graphics, screen recordings. We do not care about the pipeline. We care about the output.
• Sit with the creative team and build concepts, not just execute briefs.
