Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in aerospace materials research and development.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing research projects and teams, ideally in a remote setting.
  • Expertise in polymer composites, metallic alloys (e.g., titanium, aluminum), ceramics, and additive manufacturing materials.
  • Proficiency in materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, DSC) and mechanical testing.
  • Strong understanding of material failure analysis, fatigue, and fracture mechanics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote environment.
