About the team
As a part of Amazon Corporate Network Automation, we are responsible for Edge Network which connects 500+ remote offices to the Core network as well as into AWS cloud. We own the network standards, deployment mechanisms, automation and delivery of large programs, including AWS VPC transit gateway based networks that connect our traditional networks to Native AWS.
We also own writing the automation for automatic deployment of configuration and Operating systems to scale of 10k's of devices in the Enterprise network.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of major internet routing and switching protocols experience
- 2+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- 2+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
- Basic Knowledge of RF /Survey, RF Planning and Optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IP networking fundamentals and TCP/IP, UDP, DNS & DHCP
- Experience working with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration
- Experience in Linux and Networking protocols, or experience in web security and experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP
- Knowledge of wireless security - .1x, RADIUS, WPA2, EAP-TLS, PSK, general PKI concepts
