Key Responsibilities
- Execute mechanical erection and installation activities for plant machinery and equipment.
- Assist in commissioning of production lines, utilities, and auxiliary equipment.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and production teams during project execution.
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Perform equipment alignment, assembly, and installation checks.
- Participate in trial runs, performance testing, and successful commissioning of equipment.
- Identify installation issues and support troubleshooting during commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, permit systems, and statutory compliance during project activities.
- Maintain project documentation, installation reports, inspection records, and commissioning checklists.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers and vendors during installation and commissioning activities.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned project activities within budget and schedule.
- Support preventive maintenance planning during project handover to operations.
- Assist in material verification and inventory management for project-related mechanical equipment.
Qualification
- Diploma/ B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience
- 3-7 years of proven experience in related domain, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Comfortable with travel required at project locations (both Global and Domestic).
- Exposure to shutdown planning and greenfield/brownfield project execution.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of TPM, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Should have knowledge of Engineering standards like IS and ISO standards.

- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Having positive and Innovative mindset while working in fast paced working environment.
