The Strategic Marketing Leader - Diagnostics Platform India is responsible for developing and driving the India Diagnostics platform strategy across Operating Companies (OpCos). This role leads upstream strategic marketing, providing market, portfolio, and growth direction to accelerate sustainable performance across the Diagnostics platform in India.
This position reports to the Vice President, Diagnostics Platform, India and is part of the Diagnostics group at the Danaher Corporation, located in Mumbai or Bengaluru, and will be an on‑site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Lead strategic marketing for the India Diagnostics platform, defining market, portfolio, and growth priorities aligned with regional and global Diagnostics strategies.

+ Provide robust market and customer input into product planning and NPI processes, ensuring disciplined voice‑of‑customer representation in portfolio decisions.
+ Support innovation and localization strategies relevant to the India Diagnostics market, including participation in selective partnership or inorganic opportunity evaluations.
+ Deliver executive‑level insights and recommendations for leadership reviews, governance forums, and strategic communications.
+ Apply DBS tools and mindset to drive structured problem solving, prioritization, and sustainable execution across the Diagnostics platform.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
+ 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic marketing, upstream marketing, product strategy, or portfolio management within diagnostics, medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.

**Role Overview**
The Program Leader is EDB's single, senior point of strategic post-sales ownership for our most complex and high-value enterprise accounts. This role orchestrates multi-vendor landscapes,drives senior executive (C-level) alignment, and ensures successful execution of critical technology transformations. This is an orchestration and relationship management mandate with executive altitude, focused on securing customer confidence, long-term retention, and commercial expansion.
**What this role owns**
+ **Strategic relationship ownership** - the named owner across both the partner and the end customer; carries the engagement narrative and is the contact senior stakeholders recognise and trust.
+ **Executive escalation loop** - manages executive-level escalations, runs the executive communication lane during significant incidents to maintain alignment.
+ Governance & Cadence: Own executive cadence, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs),and alignment across internal field functions (Support, Professional Services, Product).
+ Value Validation: Proactively position EDB's value within customer roadmaps to turn technical stability into measurable business outcomes.

**Required experience & profile**
