Oversees day-to-day operations of the plating team, defines goals, improves technologies, and determines the best action to meet schedules and resolve technical issues.

+ Lead and supervise shift operations of reel-to-reel plating lines.
+ Ensure adherence to production schedules, throughput targets, and delivery commitments.
+ Monitor plating parameters such as current density, line speed, bath chemistry, temperature, and ph.
+ Ensure correct setup and changeover of plating reels and materials.
+ Minimize downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
+ Coordinate with maintenance team for equipment downtime and preventive maintenance.
+ Perform first-level troubleshooting of plating line issues (electrical, mechanical, chemical).
+ Ensure plating tanks, rectifiers, pumps, filters, and dosing systems are functioning properly.
+ Ensure plating thickness, adhesion, and surface quality meet specifications.
+ Monitor and control bath chemistry (Ni, Sn, Au, Ag) with regular analysis and adjustments.
+ Identify and troubleshoot defects
+ Collaborate with QA and engineering teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
+ Lead, allocate, and supervise operators and technicians during shift.
+ Conduct shift briefings and task assignments.
+ Train and mentor operators in plating processes, quality standards, and safety practices.
