About the Role

The selected faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful research, mentoring students, strengthening industry collaboration, supporting accreditation and quality initiatives, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting the strategic growth of the Faculty of Management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality classroom teaching.
• Design innovative learning experiences.
• Prepare lesson plans, course files, and assessments.
• Implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
• Use Harvard cases, business simulations, and AI tools.
• Maintain high academic standards.
• Mentor students academically and professionally.
• Guide internships and live projects.
• Supervise dissertations and capstone projects.
• Prepare students for placements and higher education.
• Support student clubs and competitions.
• Publish research in Scopus/ABDC/Web of Science indexed journals.
• Develop patents, copyrights, and case studies.
• Apply for funded research projects.
• Undertake consultancy assignments.
• Guide doctoral scholars.
• Build and strengthen corporate partnerships.
• Organize guest lectures and industrial visits.
• Facilitate professional certifications.
• Develop live consulting projects.
• Conduct Executive Development Programmes (EDPs).
• Develop industry-relevant curriculum.
• Design elective courses.
• Introduce AI and analytics-based learning.
• Update syllabi based on emerging industry and academic trends.
• Participate in departmental committees.
• Support admissions and student recruitment initiatives.
• Coordinate conferences and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs).
• Contribute to accreditation documentation.
• Assist in ranking and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Marketing/Management from a recognized University.
• MBA/PGDM with specialization in Marketing.
• NET Qualification is mandatory.
• Excellent academic record throughout.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Required Skills

• Publications in Scopus/ABDC/Web of Science indexed journals.
• Experience in Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
• Experience with AI-enabled teaching and digital learning platforms.
• Exposure to accreditation processes such as NAAC/NBA/AACSB.
• Industry experience and consultancy assignments will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as per applicable UGC/AICTE norms for Assistant Professor.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience for Associate Professor.
• Minimum 10–15 years of teaching/research experience for Professor.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research.
• Proven academic leadership.
• Strong publication and funded research record.
