Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Database Sales Specialist to lead strategic database adoption and migration initiatives across India's Public Sector segment. As a member of the India WWSO Specialists team, you will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth by helping the largest and most complex public sector and enterprise customers migrate from legacy commercial databases to AWS purpose-built database services.
This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strategic thinking, executive relationship management, and the ability to orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You will shape the India database GTM strategy, mentor junior specialists, and serve as the voice of the India database business to global specialist leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and exceed AWS Database services revenue and pipeline targets for strategic India Public Sector accounts.
- Develop and execute a territory strategy that maximizes database migration and modernization revenue across the India PS segment.
- Lead complex, multi-quarter enterprise deals involving large-scale Oracle and SQL Server migrations, engaging C-suite and IT leadership.
- Build and present executive-level business cases including TCO analysis, risk mitigation, and modernization roadmaps.

- Provide actionable voice-of-customer feedback to product teams on pricing, feature gaps, and competitive dynamics.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or experience in technology related sales, business development or equivalent
- 8+ years of technology sales, or 5+ years of technology sales experience
- Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
- Knowledge of Data modeling, advanced SQL with Oracle, MySQL, and Columnar Databases at an advanced level
- Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals
- Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives, both business and technical

Job Overview
Conduct testing activities in CDMS environment and provide comprehensive testing expertise to the team to produce efficient, quality database that meets customer requirements.
Essential Functions
- Independently conduct testing activities to validate edit checks, system settings, SAS listings, Transfer Programming and custom reports in platforms including, InForm, RAVE, OCRDC.
- Solid understanding of database structure.
- Ensure validation processes and best practice guidelines are being followed strictly by self and team.
- Solid understanding of documentation requirements and update all relevant documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate status of project to Validation Team Lead/Manager.
- Escalate problems to the attention of Validation Team Lead/Manager.
- Mentor Associate Validation Analysts in all testing activities.
- Conduct Quality Reviews of testing projects on an ongoing basis as applicable.
- Provide suggestions for continues process improvement and actively participate and contribute towards process improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Understand and comply with core Operating Procedures and Work Instructions (including Best Practice and Guidance documents).
- Meet project objectives as assigned by Validation Team Lead/Manager.
- Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with multiple teams across locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor in Science/Computer science/Information Technology or Bachelor in Technology Req
- 1 - 2 years of relevant clinical DB Testing experience in CDMS Platforms and total exp being 2+ yrs Req

**Database Design Lead**
**What you will do**
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will translate clinical study protocols into high-quality, fit-for-purpose database design and structure that enables site efficient, accurate data, and timely collection to support study delivery and analysis.
+ Translate study protocol requirements into robust, user-friendly database designs across multiple platforms such as Vault CDMS, RAVE, ensuring alignment to study objectives capturing both TA and Statistical needs
+ Lead end-to-end database build, including CRF/form design, edit checks, rules, and system integrations, with a focus on streamlined, interactive design approaches; meetings will be a mixture of online virtual as well as offline reviews
+ Drive EDC go-lives with zero tolerance for delays, proactively minimizing delays with builds/programming through strong planning and cross-functional alignment
+ Design efficient, value-driven edit checks that protect data quality and reducing unnecessary site burden; drive what matters in design and programming requirements
+ Support study teams and core Data Management roles to ensure the study database is fit for purpose, aligned to library definitions, and meets team requirements
+ Troubleshoot and resolve database design and integration issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal escalation
