They will serve as an expert and be responsible for providing network and security operations technical analysis, assessment, and recommendations in the areas of real-time security situational awareness, operational network system and applications systems security monitoring.
Responsibilities:
+ Monitor various security tools to identify potential incidents, network intrusions, and malware events, etc., to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of R1's architecture and information systems are protected.
+ Generate trouble tickets and perform initial validation and triage to determine whether incidents are security events using open-source intelligence (OSINT).
+ Review and analyze log files to report any unusual or suspect activities.
+ Utilize incident response use-case workflows to follow established and repeatable processes for triaging and escalating.
+ Follow established incident response procedures to ensure proper escalation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
+ Analyze and correlate incident event data to develop preliminary root cause and corresponding remediation strategy.
+ Provide technical support for new detection capabilities, recommendations to improve upon existing tools/capabilities to protect R1's network, and assessments for High Value Assets.
+ Research Threat Intelligence sources on the latest malware, trends, patches to keep the Security Program up to date.
+ Document and maintain SOPs/Runbooks related to investigating security incidents.
+ Perform case management throughout the incident lifecycle for moderately complex security incidents.
+ Understand and assist with compliance and enterprise change management policies and procedures.
+ Attend and participate in cybersecurity projects and the change management process. This includes interacting with business units and technical teams to understand what is coming and how their projects can be more secure from the beginning.
+ Maintain metrics & reports on the status of the R1 cybersecurity operations program.

Required Qualifications:
+ A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Business Analyst, etc.)

**What You Will Do:**

**Job Description**
Our Package Design Engineering team is seeking a talented Staff Engineer with expertise in thermal management, based at our Bangalore site. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving innovation in thermal design for our high-performance flash products, as well as developing and maintaining advanced simulation tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Work in the Packaging R&D group on thermal designs across semiconductor packaging level, flash product printed circuited board assembly (PCBA) level, and host level.
+ Innovate thermal management solutions for high-performance flash products
+ Enhance and maintain our modeling and simulation infrastructure to improve efficiency and accuracy across the design and manufacturing processes.
+ This position may interface with package & product design, electrical, thermal and physical characterization, reliability testing, failure analysis, assembly R&D and other process teams.
**Qualifications**
REQUIRED:
+ Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering plus >2 years of relevant industrial experience.
+ Solid knowledge through academic coursework or research experience required in thermal engineering.
+ Working knowledge in designing and conducting thermal testing and/or using a commercial CFD/FEA package.
SKILLS:
+ Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
+ Good communication, relationship skills and a team player
PREFERRED:
+ Knowledge in thermal, structural or mechanical in package engineering
+ Interested in semiconductor industry.

**What you will do:**
+ Executes the innovation and development of assigned project elements with an emphasis on the manufacturing process, technology and procedures required for the manufacture of medical devices.

+ Complete capability studies for in-process inspection and generate subsequent inspection documentation
+ Conduct MSA studies for sustaining products and processes
+ Review and approval of validation documentation
+ Selection of components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements
+ Ensure adherence to the established processes and procedures as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications
**What you will need:**
+ A bachelor's degree in engineering. Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering preferred. Other technical bachelor's degrees will be considered based on relevant experience
+ 12+ years of experience; Medical device, automotive, manufacturing experience preferred
+ Hands on experience in manufacturing processes
+ Experience in one or more of these areas: plastic molding, ultrasonic/RF welding, sealing, thermo-forming or sewing processes strongly preferred
+ Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have working knowledge of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
+ Lean Six Sigma green or black belt preferred
+ Demonstrated communication (written & verbal), presentation, partnership and influencing skills
+ Proven ability to effectively work in a fast paced, dynamic and results oriented team environment
