About Firas Digital:

Firas Digital is a growing digital marketing agency helping businesses achieve measurable growth through strategic digital marketing solutions. As we expand internationally, we're looking for talented individuals who are passionate about creativity, innovation, and delivering exceptional work.

About the Role:

We're hiring a Graphic Designer with strong, hands-on video editing ability, this is a dual-skill role, and we weigh both equally in our evaluation. You'll work closely with our founders and marketing team to produce visual content and short-form video for international brands and campaigns.

This role is roughly 50% design, 50% video editing. If you're a designer who dabbles in video, or a video editor who dabbles in design, this likely isn't the right fit, we need genuine competence in both.

Key Responsibilities:

Design

  • Design engaging social media creatives for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Create high-converting ad creatives for Meta, Google, Linkedin, TikTok and other social media ad campaigns.
  • Design marketing materials including banners, presentations, brochures, and digital assets.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creative deliverables.

Video

  • Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms including pacing, captions, sound design, and trend-appropriate cuts.
  • Create basic motion graphics and animated content.
  • Turn raw/unedited footage into publish-ready content within agency turnaround times.

Both

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaign concepts and creative strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, AI tools, and social media content formats.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on, professional graphic design experience (not coursework or personal projects only).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on, professional short-form video editing experience, this is assessed separately from design experience during our screening process.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (this will be tested, see "How to Apply").
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience using Canva Pro for fast-paced content creation.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, or similar.
  • Strong typography, layout, colour theory, and branding fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (async collaboration is core to this role).

What We're Looking For

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and video editing, we review both equally, not one as an afterthought.
  • Someone who values quality over quantity and takes ownership of their work without hand-holding.
  • A team player who's eager to learn, take feedback, and improve their craft.

Performance Criteria for Probation Review

At the end of the 3-month probation period, salary revision will be based on:

  • Output volume: Consistent delivery of 20+ design and video pieces per week, in line with campaign and content calendar needs.
  • Turnaround time: Meeting agreed deadlines for assigned briefs, with proactive communication if a delay is expected.
  • Approval rate: Work is approved by the Marketing lead within the standard review cycle, reflecting brand and quality alignment.
  • Brand consistency: Deliverables consistently follow brand guidelines (colors, typography, tone, templates) across both design and video work.

We share these criteria upfront so there's no ambiguity about what "successful completion" means.

We want you to be YOU!

At Firas Digital, we want everyone to feel comfortable bringing their complete and authentic selves to work. We believe that when individuals bring their unique experiences, backgrounds, knowledge, perspectives and self-expression to the collaborative process, our team becomes even more amazing. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcoming talent from all backgrounds. As part of our commitment, Firas Digital continually strives to create a culture of respect and fairness for all.

How to Apply:

To be considered, please send:

  1. A short video skills test: We'll send you a short raw video clip and a brief. Edit it (captions, pacing, basic sound) within 48 hours and share the result. (This is the first thing we review, video ability is core to this role.)
  2. Your updated resume.
  3. Portfolio (Behance, Dribbble, personal website, or Google Drive) with equal representation of design and video work.
  4. Links to 3–5 design projects you're most proud of, with a one-line note on the brief/goal for each.
  5. Links to 3–5 short-form videos you've edited, with a one-line note on the brief/goal for each.

We're looking for someone who's genuinely strong at both design and video, not just comfortable completing tasks in one and getting by in the other. If that's you, we'd love to connect.
