Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright, ensuring high coverage, maintainability, and scalability.
- Implement and extend MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations to enable intelligent, context-aware testing, debugging, and UI interaction automation.
- Build reusable, modular, and well-documented test components that integrate with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Collaborate with AI engineers to embed AiDE Agents into testing workflows, enabling self-healing tests, dynamic assertion generation, and AI-driven test case optimization.
- Optimize test execution speed and reliability through parallelization, smart retry logic, and environment management.
- Lead the design and implementation of cross-browser and responsive UI testing strategies across modern browsers and devices.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues, analyze failures, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in test automation, code quality, and AI-augmented development.
- Contribute to architectural decisions around test infrastructure, observability, and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, performance, and accessibility standards.
Required Qualification
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development or test automation, with a strong focus on web application testing and automation
- .Expert-level proficiency in Playwright (including multi-tab, multi-context, network interception, and browser state management)
- .Proven experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)—including integration with LLMs, AI agents, and external tools for intelligent automation
- .Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- .Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- .Experience with Postman, REST APIs, GraphQL, and API testing frameworks
- .Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or other automation tools (Playwright is preferred)
- .Experience in test data management, environment configuration, and test reporting (e.g., Allure, Extent Reports)
- .Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering complex automation solutions in fast-paced environments
- .Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprints and stakeholder collaboration
