2. Key Responsibilities
A. Supply Planning Coordination
- Validate forecast vs. actual orders during the monthly demand cycle and provide inputs to GSPM.
- Support demand–supply assessment for respective business units and highlight deviations to improve forecast accuracy.
- Maintain close engagement with regional teams for visibility on demand and order changes, and adjust production plans balancing cost and service levels.
- Outcome: Improved Replenishment OTIF and reduced supply point back-orders.
B. Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Conduct daily review of MRP exceptions and take corrective actions as per priority.
- Perform RM/IM availability checks for planned orders based on lead time.
- Raise and firm purchase requisitions for shortages and follow up for timely approvals.
- Coordinate with Purchase team for PO delivery updates (advancement/deferment).
- Prepare monthly RM call-offs and follow up with suppliers as per OPO schedules.
- Release intercompany orders and work with global site planners for material availability and inventory rebalancing.

C. Production Planning & Coordination
- Consolidate intercompany orders to determine monthly/fortnightly production volumes.

- Maintain real-time engagement with the Production team to track production events and update process orders and ATP.
- Outcome: Improved monthly production scheduling adherence.
D. Inventory Management
- Track SKU-level inventory and provide insights for optimization.
- Monitor and support reduction of Slow and Non-Moving (SNM) inventory.
- Outcome: Improved inventory performance aligned with working capital and free cash flow goals.
E. Support for New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Provide inputs and track material readiness for NPI and phase-out products in coordination with Product Development, Production, and Purchasing teams.
F. EHS Compliance
