Key Responsibilities

Hot Kitchen & Café Menu:

  • Prepare and serve a focused café-style menu, including:
    • Pastas (creamy, tomato-based, vegan options)
    • Artisan-style pizzas
    • Signature sandwiches (croissants, bagels, sourdough, buns, focaccia, etc.)
    • Toasts & open-faced breads with creative toppings
  • Maintain prep for quick service and freshness
  • Contribute ideas for weekly specials & seasonal items
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and café-style presentation

Bakery Expertise:

  • Develop and produce a range of artisanal French breads (baguette, sourdough, brioche, focaccia, etc.)
  • Create and test recipes for biscuits, cookies, and healthier baked options
  • Standardize recipes and SOPs for consistent results
  • Maintain hygiene, cost-efficiency, and production standards
  • Train and guide junior bakers (as the team grows)

Coffee Counter Duties:

  • Handle the coffee bar with basic barista skills
  • Prepare espresso-based drinks
  • Support the café’s fast-paced but cozy vibe by interacting with customers when needed
Ideal Candidate
  • 3+ years of experience as a chef (with at least 2 years in baking )
  • Previous experience in a café or bistro setting (minimum 1–2 years)
  • Skilled in both coffee-making and savory food preparation
  • Hands-on baker with knowledge of bread varieties
  • Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a small-team environment
  • Flexible for both day & night shifts
  • Willing to travel (up to 25%) if required
Bonus Points If You Have:

Burns & McDonnell India is growing a full complement of professionals with expertise in Architecture, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Construction, and Project Management to serve the facilities market. This group will provide engineering services for Food and Beverage Facilities primarily based in the North America region.
We are looking for an experienced, architect to join our growing Food and Beverage team in the Mumbai office to lead and support architectural design activities on projects in the North America region. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Architect and will assist in building an architectural team to support Food and Beverage projects.
Responsibilities: The Architect will assist project teams of architects and designers to create world class
design on Food and Beverage Projects from concept design through completion of construction:
1. Assist project teams and work on a variety of design projects from conceptual design through
construction administration.
2. Develop, modify, and review construction drawings and specifications for above listed facilities.
3. Assist in the development of interiors based on client vision and architectural needs and
requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
4. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture
industry.
5. Guide the 3D visualization team in developing concepts and final architectural rendering.
6. Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers, and contractors to help develop new
business opportunities.
7. A committed team player able to work on own initiative and ability to self-check and produce
accurate work.
8. Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
1. Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program is required.
2. A range of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
3. Basic understanding of IBC Codes, ADA Standards and Life safety standards
4. Experience in Commercial, Industrial and Warehouse facilities are preferred.
5. Ability to work across disciplines to develop a coordinated design package.
6. Must have the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
7. Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Professional Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
is necessary. Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD and Sketchup is mandatory.
8. Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills are required.

We are a multi discipline team that provides engineering services for facilities projects in the region with facilities including Food & Beverage, consumer products, hyperscale Data centers, Pharmaceutical, Life sciences and technology, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Institutional facilities.
The Senior Structural Engineer will support design projects aimed at delivering world-class solutions for new developments, modifications, and redevelopments across a diverse range of projects. He/She will play a key role in driving the growth of the Food & Beverage business lane by independently leading projects - including resource planning, meeting project KPIs related to quality, schedule, and budget,reviewing engineering design packages, ensuring interdisciplinary coordination, and conducting clash checks. In addition, the role involves supporting and executing business strategies and contributing to the development of high-performance teams.
* High level Overview of Engineering Scope for Projects in GFS:
o Structural analysis and design in compliance with American/Canadian standards
o Steel building design (e.g., process buildings, Industrial buildings, warehouses, canopies, etc.)
o Diaphragm analysis and design (rigid and flexible)
o Steel structure design (e.g., pipe racks, Pipe bridges, platforms, stair towers, Pipe trestles,
etc.)
o Foundation design for buildings and structures (both shallow and deep foundations)
* Key Responsibilities:
o Lead Structural design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for
project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
o Responsible for analysis and design of various super structures and foundations for industrial
facilities, design of steel and concrete buildings.
o Geotechnical report review, analysis and provide comments/clarifications.
o Review of equipment vendor drawings and fabrication drawings.
o Capture internal client requirements and if needed, advise them regarding structural
requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.
o Coordinate with other disciplines, client(s) and other stake holder(s) to develop a clash free
system design.
o Responsible for managing the assigned scope within agreed schedule and budget.
o Monitoring Quality, Budget and schedule KPI's for the assigned project, as necessary.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong Interpersonal skills
o Ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
o Prepare and present project budgets and cost estimates. Report project performance.
o Lead projects of the GFS GP-Food & Beverage BL and help develop team by mentoring team
members.
o Supporting SM in manpower planning, hiring, work forecasting and maintaining high
chargeability of the group
o Identify project-specific skill requirements and assign qualified staff in consultation with SM.
o Willing to advance in career by taking increased responsibilities on projects and organization.
o Serves as technical advisor, provide senior level Inputs
o Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
o Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.o Support the performance feedback collection process, conduct performance appraisal
meetings with the team.
o Train & develop team members, identify upskill opportunities & formulate career
development plans to guide career progression.
o A committed team player able to work on own initiative.
o Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to Structural engineering practice. Mentor and
guide less experienced engineers.
o Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines.

**Qualifications**
o Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Masters in Structural
Engineering an added advantage.
o Minimum 7 - 10 years of working experience. EPC project experience preferred.
o Candidates with experience in Oil and Gas industry projects are preferred.
o A dynamic individual with a strong eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in a stable, longterm commitment.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Willing and able to travel to the United States to support inter- departmental initiatives.
o People person with strong people-management skills.
