The Specialist, Legal Services - Privacy and Data Protection Services will be part of a team of privacy legal specialists within the broader GBSC Legal Services team. This position will support Mastercard's integrated approach to privacy and data protection and be accountable for Government Data Requests, and delivering positive customer experiences and efficient business results.

Role
* Log and track GDRs(Government Data Requests) using the OneTrust Self-Service Portal.
* Ensure completeness and accuracy of metadata and documentation.
* Collaborate with Privacy Counsels, SMEs, and Law Enforcement Support (LES) teams to draft and finalize responses.
* Prepare and maintain metrics dashboards to monitor GDR volumes, identify trends, measure turnaround times, and assess compliance performance.

Global Compliance & Ethics team provides expert compliance leadership to the organization. The Anti-Corruption team within Global Compliance has built a robust testing and monitoring program that allows the team to communicate how well Mastercard offices are performing against Mastercard standards and regulatory requirements. Overview
At Mastercard, we are committed to protecting our network and solutions from being used to facilitate money laundering and terrorist financing. The Mastercard Transaction Services (MTS) Compliance Analyst actively participates in a Shared Services support role for Non-Traditional Customers (NTC). Mastercard has business lines, such as Data and Services (D&S), that acquires other companies, which requires customers of those acquisitions to undergo due diligence onboarding and ongoing monitoring, with a focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance.
Reporting to the Manager-Legal Compliance, MTS, this role will execute the day-to-day onboarding and ongoing monitoring for these Non-Traditional Customers of D&S acquisitions. The Analyst works under general supervision and leverages analytical reasoning skills to draw conclusions, resolve moderately complex research, perform root cause analysis, assess risk factors, and perform other assigned compliance activities as deemed necessary.
Role
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence onboarding identification and verification procedures for potential new NTC customers through the Bureau Van Dijk (BVD) system, with a focus on AML and sanctions compliance
- Conduct initial and ongoing alert dispositioning relating to sanctions, adverse media. Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), enforcement etc. screening, using resources and research to determine if alerts are positive or false positive
- Escalate positive alerts to MTS management for further review. Confirmed positive alerts are escalated to D&S Compliance for further guidance and action
- Conduct simplified due diligence screening process through GRID for potential prospects who are not yet in the onboarding process to ensure no sanctions or adverse information is related to the company or individual
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met for due diligence onboarding and ongoing monitoring and prospect screening, including follow-up analysis and reconciliation
- Perform periodic Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews so that risks can be reevaluated and if activity is aligned with expectations
- Document the review and investigation process followed for each customer due diligence and alert disposition process undertaken so that a clear, auditable trail is available of decisions made and actions taken
- Provide support to D&S compliance during the customer lifecycle to evaluate potential AML and sanctions risks
- Provide support and input for AML and sanctions Program Risk Assessments
- Adhere to compliance procedures and internal operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies
- Support D&S Compliance team with metrics and reporting as needed
- Ensure proper recordkeeping is maintained for all processes

- Bachelor's degree required/or the equivalent experience in a compliance, risk management function in the financial services or payments industry
- At least 5+ years of experience in compliance data services or related fields (e.g., AML,KYC, Sanctions)

As a Senior Corporate Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance activities of Medtronic's subsidiaries and branches in the AsiaPacific region. The International Regulatory Lead (IRL) Sr Associate will provide coordination and execution of regulatory deliverables for International countries for one or more Amgen products. This role involves collaboration with various functions and local regulatory teams to
+ optimize product development and regulatory approvals in International countries
+ develop international regulatory strategy and provide regulatory support for in-country product registrations and life cycle management.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ With support, advises Global teams on regulatory implications and requirements relevant to the global clinical development, Marketing Applications plans and objectives.
+ Liaises with local teams to provides regulatory input on the international regulatory mechanisms to optimize product development (e.g. expediting FIH studies, Orphan Drug, expedited regulatory designations, regulatory reliance mechanisms, compassionate use and pediatric plans).
+ Under supervision, plans regulatory submissions (e.g. clinical trial, marketing authorization applications and lifecycle management) for products within Amgen's portfolio.
+ Under supervision, contributes to the development of international regulatory strategy documents (regulatory product filing plan, strategies, risks associated with the potential Agency outcomes and contingency planning, estimate likelihood of success) and communicates to others, as appropriate.
+ Provides and maintains clinical trial and/or marketing application documentation (excluding Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls documentation). May author documents/redact such documents to support a regulatory filing.
+ With support and supervision, supports the international label submission strategy, supports the negotiation activities with cross-functional teams and executes label deviation requests.
+ Supports local regulatory teams in triaging queries from health authorities, and where appropriate, helps identify existing responses to same or similar questions, leveraging knowledge management.
+ Participates as a member of the Global Regulatory Team (GRT), and other clinical and labelling focused teams, as needed.
+ Shares regulatory information and implications with the GRT and other global teams on an ongoing basis and provides advice on international considerations.
+ Partners with peers to agree on projected submission and approval times.
+ Maintains regular communications with the local teams to ensure alignment on strategy and to share product development status.
+ Builds effective relationships and communication paths across the global, regional and local elements of the global regulatory affairs function.
+ Maintains an awareness of new and developing legislation, regulatory policy and technical regulatory guidance relating to Amgen products.
+ With support, performs regulatory research to obtain relevant histories, precedence and other information relevant to regional product advancement.
**Basic Qualifications and Experience:**
+ Master's degree in a biology, life science, health science or regulatory science discipline OR
+ Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant regional regulatory experience OR
+ Associate degree and 5 years of relevant regional regulatory experience OR
+ High school diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant regional regulatory experience.

Serve as legal advisor and day-to-day counsel for the global Supply Chain Management (SCM) function including claims management.

+ Oversee and work with external/internal counsel and internal constituents on strategy, pleadings, discovery, mediations, settlement, trial, etc.

+ Communicate effectively with various business units and organizations within the company

+ Review and analyze legal documents covering a variety of subjects
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Juris Doctorate or equivalent
+ Good standing member of a Bar Association
+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation/claims management experience
+ Ability to assist in the development of efficient solutions in support of the company's global strategies
+ Ability to interact in a collegial manner with all members of the business and senior management as appropriate
+ Ability to work within a broad range of matters and issues
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Always represent the legal team in a professional manner
