- This is a unique opportunity to join Data Governance team and help be a pivotal part of Wealth Managements data transformation. The team was formed to establish robust data management and governance practices as well develop a data hub that makes information accessible and actionable to our front-line business partners.
- The individual in this role will have the opportunity to learn industry best practices for data management, data quality, refine their data wrangling skills, learn more about the Wealth Management and serve up data driven insights to our business partners.
- One of the team’s primary objectives is to implement a collaborative data platform for a more streamlined way of moving, transforming, analyzing, and communicating information. This will require the analyst to build relationships with key stakeholders, to work with internal clients to understand their data needs, and to partner with IT to deliver data solutions.
- A key tool for the team is Collibra, CDQ and DataIku. Collibra, CDQ and Dataiku provides most of the functions needed to perform the role. i.e. connections to databases, IDE functionality, SQL functions, Jupyter notebooks. SQL software is needed to connect to certain data bases.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in WM Businesses and IT
- Translates complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences
- Prepares ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- B Tech/BE/BS Degree (stats, math, engineering degrees are a plus)
- 5+ years of Experience working in Data Quality and Data Management
- 3+ years of experience with Collibra, CDQ
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- Good knowledge on Snowflake
- Passion for helping others succeed

Kubernetes Deployment & Automation

The global inspection engineering team delivers technical solutions to businesses.
The team identifies and solves bp’s highest priority materials challenges by supporting hundreds of individuals that plan and perform inspections to handle the risk of equipment mechanical integrity failure. Value is delivered to bp businesses around the world by completing many activities among the inspection technology themes: non-destructive evaluation (nde), robotics, corrosion monitoring sensors, and data.
The inspection engineer role is adaptable; work activities are matched to each individual’s unique capabilities and ambitions. Deliverables are dynamic and vary from quick immediate consulting mentorship to long-term technology developments. This prominent role has exposure to all parts of bp, influences high impact business decisions, collaborates with leading industry experts, and brings to bear global engineering bp resources including access to the bp inspection lab.
What you will deliver
The accountabilities of this role include:
Deliver innovative and pragmatic technical solutions by accepting co-ownership of business challenges and understanding the needs of bp internal customers in projects and operations teams.
Answer ambitious inspection questions from bp internal customers by applying knowledge, experience, and engineering judgement; complete inspection technology validation trials as vital.
Share learnings with the bp inspection community, develop engineering technical standard documents, and provide technical training.
Support efforts to ensure equipment material mechanical integrity risks are understood, controlled, and reduced across the business to deliver safe operating results.
Maintain awareness of significant inspection activities @ bp and significant industry advancements; build links with inspection companies and represent bp at industry technical groups.
What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)
The crucial requirements for this role include:
Technical understanding and work experience in at least one of the following inspection technology themes: non-destructive evaluation (visual/optical, ultrasonic, radiographic, electromagnetic, or thermography), robotics (crawlers, drones, subsea remote operated vehicles, or quadrupeds), corrosion monitoring sensors (wireless instrumentation or digital architecture), or data (inspection database management systems, risk-based inspection, or sophisticated statistical analysis).
Ability to independently complete some of the following tasks: establish equipment inspection work scope and prescribe inspection techniques, define inspection technique measurement requirements, review and validate inspection technique calibration procedures and measurement performance, train and qualify inspection technicians, witness field inspections, analyse inspection data, review reports and plan for future inspections.
Engineering degree or equivalent experience in materials, mechanical, non-destructive evaluation, or equivalent field of study.
Ability to travel periodically to: bp inspection lab, bp project/operation sites, and industry conferences.
The desirable requirements for this role include:
Experience with projects or operations in at least one of the following businesses: subsea oil/gas production, topside oil/gas production, pipelines/terminals, refining, wind, solar, hydrogen, or carbon bring together/storage.

The senior floating systems engineer would be based in Pune, India. The successful candidate will support our operational assets in Mauritania & Senegal.

In addition, the successful candidate needs strong stakeholder leadership skills and can effectively communicate the technical outcomes to ensure engineering risks are understood, controlled, and continuously reduced across the business to deliver safe and reliable operating results.
What you will deliver
Discipline related
- Being an integrated member (remotely) in the regional Integrity Management (IM) squad team to manage the regional floating assets in a suitable condition to deliver the company’s safety and business goals.
- Supporting the regional deployed C&S engineers to deliver the regional floating systems and structural integrity management plans based on company guidance and industry codes; responsible for the asset floating systems and structural inspection, monitoring, and maintenance strategies in resolving facility’s current condition; handling significant deterioration in topside structural, hull, and mooring conditions or any deviation following the floating systems performance standards through the anomaly management process, quantifying the risks, and making sound engineering recommendations for mitigation actions.
- Being the leading field engineer in defining the floating systems and structural engineering scope of work for brownfield projects and providing technical assurance for third-party engineering deliveries, maintaining relationships with third-party providers and contractors, ensuring design and operations follow industry codes and technical practices and performance standards, assessing the impact of significant changes in load (weight) or changes (metocean or others) to operating conditions on the integrity of the assets.
- Supporting the regional severe weather evacuation preparation and post-hurricane or winter storm inspection; supervising the platform performance from the Integrity Marine Monitoring Systems (IMMS) data to ensure the floaters operate within the safe operation limits.
- Approving the weight changes on the platform following the company policy for not compromising the floater stability.
- Driving efforts to ensure floating systems (condition, operation, or metocean) risks are understood, controlled, and continuously reduced across the business to deliver safe and reliable operating results, effectively communicating risks to business and technical collaborators
- Documenting operational experience and coordinating with central engineers to standardise regional practices.
- Representing the company for external engagements, including participating in or leading Joint Industry Projects (JIPs) and others.
- Actively contributing to the floating system’s Community of Practice (CoP) and sharing best practices and findings

Must have educational qualifications:
- BSc or BEng (UK), BSc (US), or international equivalent in civil/structural engineering, naval architecture, ocean engineering, or a closely aligned field.
Must have certifications:
- Chartered engineer, professional engineer, or near chartered/professional status in a closely aligned field, or evidence of progression towards full chartered/professional status.
Preferred education/certifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in civil/structural engineering, naval architecture, ocean engineering, or a closely aligned field.

IntentThe Cathodic Protection Engineer is accountable for providing CP engineering expertise in the service of the Production and Refinery integrity teams and projects teams in designing, operating and maintaining CP systems for the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Responsibilities- Provide CP engineering expertise to production and refinery operations teams across P&O (production & operations) (Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, Projects Ops, Turnarounds) to support operating CP systems on equipment.
- Support projects teams with the design of CP systems for new build or facility modifications.
- Support operations with interpreting CP monitoring data, troubleshooting systems and interference problems to ensure protection.
- Provide CP specialist input to supervising plans and CP surveys.
- Provide input to CP design standards.
