Manufacturing engineer is responsible for preparing the process sheets, tool design, establish overall strategic goals & objectives of Manufacturing Engineering in alignment with organizational goals. **Responsibilities:**
+ Analyze new technology and manufacturing processes. Plan and assess the feasibility of new and running projects.
+ Ensure good interfaces between Production, Production Planning, Engineering, QC and other functions.

+ Ensure Day to day accountability & support Production team to achieve targets by process improvements, training, FAI etc.
+ Develop new process and create all process documents like PFC, PFMEA, Control plan and SOP by understanding the depth of product requirements.
+ Vendor management, Programming, Installation, and commissioning of new Equipment's and co-ordinate with CFT for complete process validation.
+ NPI/NPD projects execution, development and creation of all required FAI documentations and approvals.
+ Implement Process monitoring and Control (SPC & SQC), quality traceability Systems using IOT technology.
+ Create, Maintain & Control all the programming software's and production control documents for Auditing.
+ Vendor management and subcon handling and support for external projects.
+ Support production team to achieve day wise plan.
+ Prepare CT & Investment for new product and work to reduce cost by optimization/automating process.
+ Responsible for ordering spares and vendor management, down time reduction
+ Capacity & Layout planning/execution for new product line.
+ Support manufacturing for Continuous Improvement, quality issues on the shopfloor, new launches, engineering changes.
+ Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process. Conduct Root-Cause Analysis.
+ Review designs for manufacturing feasibility, suggest changes to the design to ensure product cost effectiveness.

The WSP Aviation team is seeking an experienced Airfield Engineer to be the Principal Engineer within our Indian office, with the potential to become the GCC Airfield Engineering Team Lead as the team grows and develops. CORE Functions

  • Act as the design lead for airfield civil engineering projects.
  • Take ownership of the successful delivery of projects whilst giving leadership and direction to more junior team members, including planning their work and managing the delivery of multiple technical engineering projects.
  • Leading and undertaking the preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications related to the delivery of airfield engineering projects in both the UK and overseas.
  • Undertake/ contribute towards technical design reviews to meet the WSP quality management requirements.

Qualifications and work experience

Minimum Requirements

  • 10 years of civil infrastructure design experience at airports.

  • Experience managing engineering professionals in the delivery of technical aviation projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Propulsion Engineer (IC Engine) to design, integrate, test, and maintain internal combustion engine systems for aerospace and defence platforms, including UAVs and loitering munitions. The role involves performance analysis, system optimization, and ensuring reliability under demanding operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize IC engine systems for UAV and aerospace applications.

Perform engine performance analysis including power, torque, fuel efficiency, and thermal characteristics.

Select, size, and integrate propeller systems, gearboxes, and exhaust systems for optimal performance.

Conduct test planning, setup, and execution for ground and flight engine testing.

Diagnose and troubleshoot engine performance issues, vibration problems, and mechanical failures.

Oversee fuel system design, including pumps, filters, injectors, and fuel lines.

Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (MIL-STD, DGCA, ASTM, etc.).

Collaborate with structural, systems, and avionics teams for complete propulsion integration.

Maintain detailed documentation including test reports, installation procedures, and maintenance manuals.

Support engine break-in, endurance testing, and field operations.

Assist in failure analysis and root cause investigation for engine components.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Automotive Engineering

2–6 years of experience in IC engine design, testing, and maintenance

Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, combustion, lubrication, and cooling systems

Experience with engine test stands and performance measurement equipment

Proficiency in tools such as ANSYS (thermal/structural), MATLAB, and CAD software (CATIA/SolidWorks/NX)

Familiarity with propeller selection, thrust measurement, and vibration analysis

Understanding of fuel system components and engine calibration

Preferred Skills:

Experience with two-stroke and four-stroke engines in aerospace or UAVs

Knowledge of EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) and engine control units (ECUs)

Familiarity with noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis

Exposure to CFD tools (Fluent, CFX) for combustion and airflow simulations

Hands-on experience in engine teardown, rebuild, and performance tuning

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good documentation and technical reporting abilities.

Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines.

Ability to work in lab, workshop, and field testing environments
