If you’re a high-octane technical leader with the brain of an architect , the hands of a master builder , and the soul of a mentor — we’ve got a seat for you at the head of the squad.
You‘re not a ‘people manager‘ who sits in spreadsheets. You‘re the Hands-on Transformation Driver.
What Are We Looking For?
A Playing Captain. Manager? Absolutely. But not the ‘sit-back-and-delegate‘ kind. We’re searching for leaders who lead by doing. If you’re the type to dismantle a broken pipeline yourself, re-architect a cloud environment on the fly, and then explain the strategic ‘Why‘ to a CEO, then you’re speaking our language.
- The Builder-Leader: You don‘t just review PRs; you commit code. You are as comfortable in a terminal as you are in a boardroom.
- The Architect of Outcomes: Thinks in systems, builds at scale, and ensures the ‘Art of the Possible‘ becomes a production reality.
- The Compassionate Solver: A mentor who empowers a small squad of engineers and architects by getting into the trenches with them.
- The Bridge: Translates complex client visions into executable engineering roadmaps without losing the ‘futurify‘ magic.
Your Responsibilities
What you will wake up to solve. You are the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for both the blueprint and the bricks. You lead a small, elite team of data solvers, owning the outcome end-to-end.
- Architect & Build: This is a hands-on-keys role. You will design and implement foundational data infrastructure. You’ll build it, break it, and perfect it alongside your team.
- Lead the Squad: Mentor and manage a pod of Data Engineers and Architects. You’re responsible for their growth, their code quality, and their delivery velocity.
- Client Stewardship: Act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients. You navigate complex challenges across Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and AWS/GCP ecosystems.
- Enable Cloud & AI: Design and implement the data pipelines and structures that efficiently feed and empower Machine Learning and AI applications.
- Optimize Everything: Continuously fine-tune architectures for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You don‘t just make it work; you make it elite.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Visual Designer who sits at the intersection of graphic design, motion design, and psychology of attention. You won’t just make things look pretty — you’ll craft visual narratives that stop the scroll, spark curiosity, and drive action. You’ll own the visual identity of our product marketing efforts, creating everything from static ad creatives and social media assets to animated explainers and short-form video ads.
This role demands someone who thinks in stories, understands what makes content go viral, and can execute across both still and moving mediums with speed and precision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design high-impact ad posters, banners, social media creatives, and digital campaign assets for product marketing across platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.).
• Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce ad videos, product walkthroughs, animated explainers, and short-form video content (reels, stories, YouTube shorts).
• Create motion graphics and visual effects to elevate video content and bring product features to life.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual language and brand system across all marketing touch-points.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and leadership teams to translate product value propositions into scroll-stopping visual content.
• Apply principles of advertising psychology, color theory, visual hierarchy, and persuasion to maximize engagement and conversion.
• Rapidly ideate, prototype, and iterate on creative concepts — balancing speed with craft.
• Stay ahead of design trends, platform-specific content formats, and viral content patterns to keep happierwork’s brand fresh and relevant.
• Manage end-to-end video production workflow including editing, color grading, sound design, and final output optimization for various platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
Design & Video Tools (one of the following toolchains):
Option A — Adobe Suite
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Premiere Pro
Option B — Alternate Stack
Affinity Photo / Designer
DaVinci Resolve
DaVinci Fusion
Skills & Experience:
• 2–5+ years of professional experience in visual/graphic design, motion design, or video production (agency, in-house, or freelance).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work across static design, motion graphics, and video editing.
• Deep understanding of advertising psychology — what triggers attention, builds desire, and drives clicks.
• Proven ability to create viral or high-engagement content for digital platforms.
• Strong sense of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Experience designing for B2B / SaaS / enterprise audiences is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with quick turnaround expectations.
• Self-directed with excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
AI-Powered Creative Tools (Strongly Preferred):
Experience with AI generative tools for image and video creation is very much preferred.
Candidates who have tinkered extensively with tools in this space will have a significant advantage, for example:
• Midjourney / Gemini’s Nano Banana Pro (OR any other AI image generator)
