• Prepare and review Validation Master Plan (VMP) in alignment with site validation strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and review qualifications of equipment, systems, and utilities, including HVAC, purified water, and compressed air systems.
• Oversee and support process validation activities including protocol preparation, execution, data compilation, and report finalization.

Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of their existing petrochemical facilities in India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices and Dahej site. You will bring your experience and expertise to the Commissioning Manager role while working within the customer's organization as part of an integrated team. In this role, you will be responsible for startup planning and executing activities on OSBL facilities. You will coordinate with project management, engineering, construction, and clients to leverage diverse technical team skills to integrate and develop the Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning schedules to drive plant facility assets to RFSU. You will identify risks and trends, manage progress reporting, and proactively course correct to ensure goals, schedules, and requirements are met.

• Oversee coordination of support teams involved in completion process, resolve problems and coordinate the final turnover of project to the customer.
• Monitor and control all contractual commitments to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and terms of the contract, that a trend program is in place, and that change orders and claims are processed in a timely manner.
• Support client during Facility commissioning and Performance testing activities.
• Responsible for project execution, ensure that the project is delivered within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety, and to the customer and Bechtel performance expectations.
• Lead/conduct project and customer meetings to promote and facilitate communication, review progress/performance, discuss issues and facilitate problem resolution.

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience

• Knowledge of oil & gas, energy, chemical industry, technology, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) work processes, including knowledge of customs, culture, and business practices
• Previous project management experience on lump sum and reimbursable projects in international settings Knowledge and experience in project execution plan development and implementation

Role & responsibilities

1. The Shift Operator Engineer has responsibilities of conducting periodic walk-through throughout the plant monitoring and documenting operating plant data and advice Control Room Engineer of any problems requiring immediate corrective actions

2. He will also assist under the direction of Shift Manager in restoring or isolating various plant systems in a safe manner and within the operating constraints procedures.

3. Coordinate field operational functions closely with the Control Room Engineer and Shift Manager.

4. Periodically walk-through Plant and monitor/document status of all plant systems.

5. Responding to alarms or abnormalities by reporting to Control Room Engineer or Shift Manager and taking appropriate actions as required.

6. Take directions from Shift Manager in isolation and restoration of plant equipment and systems as per operational procedures.

7. Assist Control Room Engineer in a manner that the plant operates safely and efficiently as per approved procedures.

8. Perform work in strict compliance with the Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety Management System Rules and operating procedures and routines.

9. Ensure that Plant assets are properly maintained and functionally available and preserved during shutdown.
