This is a full-time on-site role for a ROS Developer located in Pilani. The ROS Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Robot Operating System (ROS) based applications. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shipping Manager located in Ratangarh. The Shipping Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of shipping and receiving, including coordinating shipments, managing inventory, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records. • Ensure timely day to day accounting and month end closing.
• Fixed deposit management: Advise an opening, closing, reinvesting based on Donation/fund received and payment need.
• Scholarship payments: Collaborate with Student Welfare Division (SWD) to identify the eligible students and ensure scholarship payments as per norms.
• Donation Management: Acknowledge received funds, Issue Tax receipts, ensure all necessary information received from donors.
• Donor Management: Maintain donor-specific fund utilization and respond to donor queries on balances, statements, FDs etc.
• FCRA expenses management: Liaise with faculty/students for FCRA fund use, ensure compliance, maintain records as per FCRA guidelines.
• PIEDS:
• Help manage various government funds with proper compliance, including Utilization Certificates, Interest payments, reporting on government portals (PFMS, RBI TSA etc.)
• Discuss and close due diligence for term sheets, SSHA, CCD, Grant and other investment instruments with selected startups by working closely with external advisory firm for them to receive funding from PIEDS
• Work with the BITS Finance team to make payments to startups, vendors and other beneficiaries
• Manage and complete all legal, financial, and statutory compliances, including annual and regular account, TDS payments etc., and help to conduct an audit of PIED Society
• Ensure compliance with donations to PIEDS as per IT and FCRA laws
• Management and utilization of CSR funds as per Companies Act
• Others: Bank reconciliation, MIS Preparation, Assets verification and any other responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualification & Experience

Pre-requisites

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, HR, Education or a related field.

• 5-7 years' experience in academic / career counselling, student development or placement

support.

• Strong communication, empathy and ability to handle confidential information.

Desirable

• MBA / PGDM (HR / Training & Development) or certifications in career counselling /

psychometric testing.

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 counselling session for academic performance, career planning and personal

growth.

• Guide students in career goal setting, industry awareness, and role selection.
• Help students manage stress anxiety and rejection during the placement season.
• Support placement readiness through resume reviews, mock interviews, and group

workshops.

• Facilitate academic improvement strategies including but not limited to, study skills, time

management and exam preparation.

• Administer or interpret psychometric / aptitude assessments to provide structured guidance.
• Design group sessions and workshops on communication, workplace adaptability, ethics and

leadership.

• Collaborate with the Placement Unit and Faculty to align guidance with recruiter's

expectations.

• Maintain confidential records, track progress and prepare student development reports for

Operations & Maintenance

• Lead the mechanical team for smooth operation of Copper Matte and Pyro PAT plant equipment (converters, anode furnaces, ladles, mixers, off-gas handling systems, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, blowers, conveyors, cranes, etc.).
• Ensure availability and reliability of critical mechanical equipment by implementing effective preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Review daily breakdown reports, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with production and electrical/instrumentation heads for integrated maintenance planning.

Project & Modifications

• Lead mechanical modifications, revamping, and upgradation projects for productivity improvement and safety compliance.
• Drive implementation of energy conservation, process optimization, and automation in mechanical systems.
• Manage contractor and vendor services for mechanical projects and overhauls.

People & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Ensure skill development through regular training in mechanical systems, safety, and maintenance best practices.
• Allocate resources effectively during shutdowns and emergencies.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to mechanical safety standards, statutory norms, and environment regulations.
• Drive initiatives on zero accidents, safe maintenance practices, and compliance with audit requirements.
• Maintain documentation for audits (ISO, OHSAS, EMS, etc.).

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare and monitor mechanical department budget (OPEX & CAPEX).
• Control spares inventory and optimize maintenance costs without compromising reliability.
• Negotiate with vendors for cost-effective procurement of critical spares and consumables.

Reliability & Continuous Improvement

• Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), and Kaizen practices in mechanical systems.
• Lead digitalization initiatives like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and condition monitoring tools.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance plant performance, asset life cycle, and cost efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies (KSA):

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in Copper Matte Smelting, Converters, Anode Furnaces, and Pyro Metallurgy operations.
• Expertise in heavy rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, refractory handling, and lifting equipment.
• Leadership and team management skills with cross-functional coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
• Hands-on experience in shutdown/overhaul planning and execution.
• Knowledge of safety, statutory compliance, and best maintenance practices.
