- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, manage orders, and optimize workflows.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage and train warehouse staff (who may be on-site at various locations), providing clear direction and performance feedback.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to inventory, order fulfillment, or shipping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to meet business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with third-party logistics providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, order fulfillment processes, and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team remotely.
- Familiarity with lean warehousing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain oversight of operations from a distance.
