**About the Role:**
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior IT Project/Program Manager to lead our IT Infrastructure programs. This pivotal role involves managing a comprehensive portfolio of infrastructure initiatives, including Network, Cloud, RCF, Datacenter, Storage, and Compute. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of these programs, from demand management and prioritization to execution and delivery. This individual will also be instrumental in reporting on key infrastructure metrics and fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholders.
**What You'll Do:**
+ **Program and Project Management:** Oversee and manage all IT infrastructure programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This includes developing detailed project plans, tracking progress, and managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
+ **Infrastructure Portfolio Management:** Take ownership of the entire infrastructure portfolio, including but not limited to:
+ **Network:** LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers
+ **Cloud:** Public and private cloud environments
+ **RCF (Raised Control Floor):** Data center facilities
+ **Datacenter:** Physical and virtual server infrastructure
+ **Storage:** SAN, NAS, and backup solutions
+ **Compute:** Server hardware and virtualization platforms
+ **Reporting and Metrics:** Develop and maintain an "Infra Matrix" to report on the status, health, and performance of all infrastructure programs. Regularly communicate these metrics to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
+ **Demand Management and Prioritization:** Establish and manage a robust process for intaking, evaluating, and prioritizing all IT infrastructure requests.
+ **Execution and Delivery:** Drive the execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring the successful delivery of new systems and services. This includes coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless implementation.
+ **Monitoring and Pathing:** Implement and oversee monitoring solutions to ensure the stability and performance of the infrastructure. Define and communicate clear technology roadmaps and "pathing" for future infrastructure enhancements.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:** Act as the primary point of contact for all IT infrastructure-related communication. Foster a close and collaborative partnership with key teams, including:
+ Engineering
+ Information Security (InfoSec)
+ Enterprise Architectur
+ Sales Engineering
+ **Team Leadership:** Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of project managers and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
+ **Process Optimization & Best Practices:** Champion best practices in program management, ITIL processes, and infrastructure lifecycle management. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, automation, and continuous improvement across the infrastructure landscape.
+ **Vendor Management:** Oversee relationships with third-party hardware, software, and service vendors, ensuring adherence to contracts, service levels, and project deliverables.
**Experience You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT program or portfolio management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing complex IT Infrastructure and Corporate IT initiatives.
+ Demonstrated hands-on experience leading large-scale implementations and significant revitalizations across a broad range of infrastructure domains (Network, Systems, Storage & Data Center, Cloud, RCF, Database, HelpDesk, Endpoint,).
+ Strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure architectures, cloud computing principles (IaaS, PaaS), networking protocols, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and virtualization technologies.
+ Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and build consensus among diverse technical and business stakeholders.
+ Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex technical environments.
+ Proficiency with project and program management tools such as JIRA.
+ Proficiency with collaboration and productivity suites, particularly Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
+ Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore, India.
+ Minimum of 3 full days' work from the Bangalore office.
**Nice To Have:**
+ PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
+ Master's degree in a technical field or Business Administration.
+ Experience in a high-growth technology company or SaaS environment.
+ Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
+ Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
