Wells Fargo is seeking Financial Accounting Associate. This role is for skilled professionals with experience in public accounting. The candidate would be providing support in financial accounting domain to multiple lines of business & control functions and would be communicating frequently with mid to senior level stakeholders throughout the organization. The candidate would be expected to perform varied accounting functions, incl. reconciliations of associated ledger accounts and preparing workpapers used in presentation of financial statements and reports.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide support for financial accounting related matters for lines of business and control functions

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 6+ months of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Responsibilities**
+ Gathering and reviewing financial data available from various platforms to prepare various financial reports.
+ Reviewing data from general ledgers, 3rd Party reports and other data sources to ensure accuracy & performing a variety of analysis relating to financial accounting procedures, method's or systems.
+ Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations and certifications.
+ Assist & participate in implementation of complex projects and/or initiatives impacting multiple lines of business across the enterprise.
+ Develop and build strong relationships and effective communication processes with customers, partners and stakeholders.
+ Provide remediation support to ensure accurate root cause analysis of an issue & strategic solutioning and leading to a sustainable solution.
+ Serve as a key change agent in building/adopting best practices for continuous improvement of the control environment.
**Essential Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's/ Post-graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
+ Experience in Financial accounting roles with expertise in Reconciliation of Inter-company GL's & JE postings
+ Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles & US GAAP
+ Ability to work both independently and within team environment across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
+ Strong communication and presentation skills.
+ Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
+ Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Financial services industry expertise with specific experience in US GAAP reporting would be preferred.

Amazon's Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment and delivering great experiences for our customers is top priority. FOAA is seeking a Finance Analyst to support our Central Accounting and Tax Compliance.
Key Roles and Responsibilities are:
1. Perform/Support the month end activities which include closing of sub ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and balance sheet account analysis.
2. Prepare month end Flux analysis for all P&L and Balance sheet accounts and share with Stakeholders along with the analysis on the reasons for the changes.
3. Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and knowledge in accounting and apply this in-depth knowledge, principles and systems design to recognize complex and unique issues and develop resolution and/or consistently consult with leadership in order to achieve resolution
4. Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures and internal controls are in place, documented and also work on process improvements.
5. Responsible for Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations (reconciliations with GST Tax returns/sub-ledger reports) and highlighting and taking necessary action upon the issues appropriately.
6. Interact and working closely with the auditors on audit related queries and ensure smooth completion of the audits .
7. Responsible for GRC compliance, internal control and get the alignment of improvements/changes with the Stakeholder.
8. Perform and support new business/system launches including UAT of the accounting entries and financial reporting.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- CA, CPA with 4+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

FOAA is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Payroll team. The Financial Analyst will partner with the Global Payroll Finance teams (based in the US) to support in launching, operationalizing and maintaining its payments infrastructure across entities, platforms and marketplaces. · Work independently to manage projects and support Amazon's global business and development teams in the design and implementation of payment methods, new products and offerings.
· Provide project management update within and across business units to transition new processes and/or permanent solutions to support the Amazon accounting team.
· Coordinate with the global accounting teams to establish and maintain strong communication channels.
· Identify, implement, and adhere to best practices across all new project launches
· Offering and receiving coaching, support, and guidance to the team.
· Perform financial reporting and support monthly P&L analysis and financial forecasts
· Developing and reporting on Finance Business Integration (FBI) team performance metrics
· Supporting in User Acceptance Testing (UATs) in close co-ordination with business and accounting teams
· Assisting on measuring and reporting progress on key goals for the business in a timely manner
· Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews in a timely manner. Facilitate the business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period of time
· Long and short term financial planning
· Perform ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling. Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions, and planned future initiatives
· Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and apply them
· Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended.
· Drive process improvements required to enhance controls.
· Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- CA with 0-4 years of post qualification experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts/working on various sub-ledgers/Accounting Knowledge/Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Reporting activities.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing finance operations for accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Good communication skills
