**Responsibilities and Duties**
Analysis & handling of day-to-day accounting transactions for
USA clients.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Track, monitor and update accounts receivable and issue/ preparation of invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
Update financial data in a timely manner in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Adhere to legal and company accounting and other financial guidelines
Assist with other accounting projects
**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
Proven experience as a junior accountant
Quickbooks exposure will be an added advantage
Excellent organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Advance Excel
Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
