Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and integration of complex aerospace systems and subsystems.
  • Define system architectures, requirements, and specifications for new aerospace platforms.
  • Oversee the design, analysis, and validation of critical components, including airframes, propulsion systems, and avionics.
  • Conduct thorough systems engineering analyses, including FMEA, trade studies, and risk assessments.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets for engineering initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including ground and flight testing.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DGCA, FAA, EASA).
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the systems engineering group.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the development and production phases.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in aerospace systems engineering.
  • Proven experience in leading complex aerospace projects from conception to delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace systems, including aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, avionics, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., DOORS, SysML).
  • Experience with simulation and modeling tools relevant to aerospace applications.
  • Familiarity with relevant aerospace regulations and certification processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-paced engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to technical excellence.
