PURPOSE
Collaborates on the technology planning strategy direction and design choices within solutions used to meet the business requirements of SITA customers. This includes providing guidance support and advice in the proposal implementation and deployment for any new or existing product developments as part of a customer solution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides the technical qualification and owns the technical parts of proposals submitted to customers through knowledge of current new or evolving technologies and SITA solution portfolios.* Designs/coordinates development of standard and complex solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally including the selection of 3rd party vendor to meet customer requirements.* Promotes SITA by furnishing customers with comprehensive up-to-date information on current products product enhancements and new solutions through customer meetings and workshops. Facilitate designs to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supported operationally.* Collaborates with colleagues to gain and share ideas and opportunities.* Lead mentor and coach staff and organize technical training and certification on the products and technologies supporting the ATI.* Supports account team or competency centers during the pre-contract phases (qualification proposal and contract) with technical designs and advice.* Participates in the development of technical account strategies with the sales team to ensure maximum account penetration and commercial benefits for SITA in the long term.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
* 5-8 years of experience in Information Technology Telecom Industry or Air Transport Industry technology in a technical pre-sales role* Proven track record in producing communicating and documenting successful technical customer solutions* Pre-Sales Business and or Commercial experience is a plus

In this position, you will be able to make a difference in a varied, interesting role, where sustainability is one of our fundamental pillars. You will work on a roster pattern in accordance with operational requirements.
Job Purpose:
Guarantee, in coordination / in the absence of the Station Manager with the central reference functions and in compliance with the operational programs, procedures and reference legislation including customs legislation, the correct performance of Ground Handling operations for all flights operated by ITA Airways through supervision of assistance provided by third parties, contributing to the protection of the Company's image, pursuing objectives of maximum customer satisfaction
RESPONSIBILITY
- Contributes to the safeguarding, the image and reputation of ITA Airways, guiding the behaviours and actions of the resources he collaborates with.
- Supervises the operational activities ensuring compliance with service and safety standards by pursuing the objectives of maximum customer satisfaction.
- Ensures the protection of company assets.
- For all flights operated by Group companies, it guarantees the correct performance of ground handling operations by supervising the services provided by third party suppliers at the airport of competence and, in coordination with the Station Manager, at any remotely supervised airports.
- Monitors the quality delivered for the competency processes in line with company quality procedures and standards.
- Manages inefficiencies related to passengers and baggage through the supplier.
- Promptly reports to the Station Manager, the reference line and the OCC functions and the Ground Operations Control (GOC) regarding any incipient or sudden critical issues, providing details on how to deal with them and / or what has happened and on any possible threat to the integrity of operations (eg strikes, social unrest, security and safety issues - in coordination with Central Security - lack of resources, IT problems and / or DCS systems).
- Supports the Station Manager in guaranteeing, in the context of the passive cycle, the certification of the services provided by the suppliers of goods / services (e.G. handling agent, caterer, line maintenance, crew transport, hotac, etc.) in relation to quantitative standards / qualitative contractually defined in collaboration with the Ground Administration function Support.
- In close collaboration with the Station Manager, the Station Duty Manager ensures the constant maintenance of relations with the local airport Authorities for the purposes of the correct performance of airport activities, also through participation in any local committees present, in close coordination with the competent central functions, guaranteeing them last the necessary information flow.
- Guarantees daily operational reporting to the Station Manager and to the reference lines.
Education/Professional Background:
- Minimum 5 years of airline experience and airport environment/procedures
- Degree or diploma-level education
- Strong knowledge of systems, Microsoft and company DCS knowledge (Altea Amadeus)
- Excellent written/spoken English, knowledge of Italian a strong advantage

SENIOR MANAGER RAMP
JOB PURPOSE & SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure the administration is working smoothly and all documents are properly maintained.
- To ensure that all ramp services are in accordance with the rules laid down by customer airlines and regulatory bodies at the airport, and are in concurrence to AISATS’ standards and procedures
- Ensure that ramp team is updates with the latest policies, procedures and regulations
- To provide contributions to formulate ground handling services strategies and policies in accordance with company vision, mission, values and legal procedures, and implements the approved ones
- To provide necessary assistance to HOD - Ramp in relations to customers and airport authorities
- To ensure that ramp services are recorded and billed to respective clients and to ensure there is no revenue loss
- To assist HOD - Ramp to reduce operational costs and optimize resources
- To assist HOD - Ramp to ensure that aircraft cleaning (including transit, enhances, deep and aircraft exterior cleaning) are planned as per agreed SLA with clients
- Leads/Coordinates his/her subordinates during his/her shifts, delivers targets, monitors and evaluates his/her subordinates’ performance and provides feedback, reports them HOD – Ramp.
- To make spot checks to ensure that ramp safety procedures are followed, take necessary steps to correct any irregularity in consultation with HOD-Ramp.
- To assist HOD - Ramp in preparing budgets for ramp services
- Observes customer satisfaction and makes proposals for improvement and submits them to HOD-Ramp.
- To prepare monthly working schedule of ramp services departments and submit them to HOD-Ramp for approval.
- To resolve day-to-day operations problems which are beyond the DM’s jurisdiction, and to inform HOD-Ramp of problems which exceed his/her authorizations
- To ensure that safety audit of customer airline is carried out as per the procedure.
- To ensure training schedule is prepared once a quarterly and all the staff are trained as per the requirement.
- To ensure service level agreements with the customer airlines are maintained within the limits specified.
- To ensure proper discipline is maintained.
- To monitor all the report s forwarded by the Duty Managers and to take necessary action as and when required.
- To maintain cordial relations with All Airline Representatives, Airport Authorities and all other agencies.
- To investigate any delays, accidents to equipment/personnel and to submit the report to higher authorities.
- To ensure high standard of safety in the handling of flights.
- To ensure the baggage is delivered as per the airline standard.
- Monitor the BOS system in Admin and Ramp.
- To ensure the roster is prepared once in a quarter.
- To ensure inventory of company assets is maintained and reviewed periodically.
- To handle any project as and when required.
- Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of operations in the assigned area of work.
- Responsible for reporting to his supervisors’ occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect safety, security and company reputation.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree
- Related qualification in Business Administration
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- At least 15 years of airport operational experience having worked as a Station /General Manager in an operation involving a high frequency of flights with large passenger and cargo loads
- Expert level knowledge of passenger Services, Cargo, Ground operations and Flight Operations
- Thorough knowledge of mishandled baggage practices and understanding of hardware /software protocols related to airport systems
- Detailed knowledge of and prior experience in the negotiation and drafting of IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreements
