To carry out Solar resource assessment, Generation estimation, Shadow analysis, Plant layout designing, Pitch analysis, PV system analysis (PVSYST). Candidate should have thorough knowledge of PV Syst and Shadow Analysis in google sketcher.
Idea about design of KV/ KV/ KV/// KV Sub Station & selection of components. Candidate should have Knowledge of complete AC Design of Solar projects and have good knowledge on working principle at // KV Substations, Transmission line, should be capable of making technical specifications of AC Systems, EHV Systems of Solar project, also have knowledge of vendor drawing review of AC and EHV engineering documents.
To do sizing and make specifications for DC Designing, string sizing, Inverter selection, Cable sizing, Fuse selection, Earthing system design, Designing of cable route, Cable Trench & Equipment layout, AC Design, Transformer design, Bay design, CT/PT selection, VCB selection, designing of Plant Protection system. Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of DC Design as per the latest market standards, should be efficient in PV and DC cable sizing, DC Losses calculation, string combiner box sizing. Should be capable of making technical specification of all DC equipment and have knowledge of preparing specifications for installation works of DC System of utility scale solar projects
Shall be responsible for Preparation of DBR, and assist in Bill of Material, Costing sheet of SPV system.
Candidate should have thorough knowledge, and shall be required to ensure compliances, of IEC, BIS, IEEE and IS standards for Solar
System and conduct Site and Factory Acceptance Testing. Candidate should be well versed in preparing Manufacturing quality Plan and should have experience of carrying of Factory acceptance test of major equipment like Inverter, DC and AC Cables, SCADA, AC and EHV Equipment etc.
Responsible for the smooth & efficient working of the Design & Engineering Department.
Review & Generate the Commands against GA, BoQ, Estimates, Design & Manufacturing drawings. Candidate should able to prepare the Array Layout, Control room layout, Switchyard Layout etc, AutoCAD Knowledge is a must.
Co-ordinate with design partners for all design inputs & deliverables.
Interact with Customer / Consultants for any queries, presentations, clarifications & approval of designs. Should able to handle smooth Design and Engineering works between EPC and OE and LIE keeping project cost and design quality intact
Prepare preliminary cost estimates for Business Development.
Attend & participate in customer/ consultant/ designer meetings whenever required.
Coordinate with internal functions like Business Development, Projects, and
Procurement for all technical specifications & queries, BoQ, drawings, etc.
Understand, verify & regularize technical deviations/ design change requests raised by contractors / vendors/ consultants throughout & beyond the production/project phases.
Attend and participate in Client meetings.
Coordinate with procurement/ supply chain for vendor selection/ evaluations. Candidate should have experience of preparing Technical Bid evaluation and assist in cost bid evaluation of various vendors
Implement continual improvement and optimization in existing designs & try to introduce innovative, cost-effective new designs. Candidate should be well versed with the latest technological trends in utility scale solar use of trackers versus fixed, bifacial versus HGT or mono facial or CdTe, string versus central and other technological optimizations
Lead interaction with design partners & ensure effective response & contribution from them.
Be responsible for specifications & approvals in new product development.
Interact with new prospective design partners & technology providers.
Obtain product and/or design approvals from Certifying bodies & competent authorities for new applications, new customers & exports.
Build & maintain document library & database for all designs, drawings and project wise technical data.
Familiarity with present codes & practices for designing Electrical & Civil Mounting Structures.
Lead, guide and supervise a team of Design & Engineering Department, as and when required. Also the candidate should be willing to travel to site and at Manufacturer’s factories etc as on when required
