Senior Manager, Sourcing

This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Develop complex sourcing strategies for assigned products by collaborating with cross-functional business partners (for example, merchants, planners) to understand product demand. Serves as a subject-matter and industry expert for multiple commodities and items sourced from an assigned country, both in- and out-of-season. Overseas assigned sourcing programs at the item level, including seasonal and in-country regions and growing areas. Influences internal and external business partners (for example, merchants) to bring product and packaging innovation to market. Aligns the sourcing strategy with merchants’ annual operating plan. Provides perishability and quality insights to guide merchandise flow and replenishment decisions. Incorporates company growth strategy into planning (for example growth in direct imports).
  • Creates complex vendor decision matrices by evaluating new and existing vendors based on performance metrics and long-term potential. Incorporates company strategies into alignment decisions. Negotiates with vendors to obtain products at lowest sustainable costs. Calculates and understands the cost impacts of a commodity/product’s initial mark up. Measures and tracks awarded cost against actual cost through the commitment tracker. Ensures cost keys are accurate. Inform planners and merchants of changes to conditions that will affect the cost of goods.
  • Develops strategic vendor relationships with multi-year contracts for business continuity. Identifies, develops, and maintains supplier relationships that meet company financial, ethical, and sustainability standards. Assesses and develops vendor production, distribution, and technological capabilities to ensure adequate supply. Conducts quarterly performance reviews with vendors. Manages and resolves vendor issues.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and promoting a belonging mindset in workplace.

**Summarized Purpose:**

The Global Talent Vendor Manager plays a critical role in optimizing Sanofi's relationships with ex‐ternal talent vendors, such as Global RPOs, ensuring high-quality service performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with global standards. This role oversees vendors relationships and budget, establishes market guardrails for standardized vendor use, and collaborates closely with Procurement and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. The role reports into the Head of the Global Talent Operations team.
**Key responsibilities**
-Oversee and manage relationships with talent vendors (mainly global RPOs), acting as the primary point of contact for communication, issue resolution, and performance management. Foster a col‐laborative and mutually beneficial partnership to ensure alignment with Sanofi's talent acquisition goals.
-Manage the vendors budget, tracking spending, analyzing trends, and identifying cost optimization opportunities to ensure budget adherence and maximize return on investment.
-Develop and implement clear guardrails and guidelines for markets to follow when engaging with talent vendors. Ensure standardized and streamlined vendor use across Sanofi, promoting consistency and efficiency.
-Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, assessing performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement in alignment with Sanofi's talent acquisition strategy.
-Procurement Collaboration & Contract Management: are properly managed, contractual obligations are met, and vendor strategies align with Sanofi's wider procurement goals.
-Liaise with regional Talent Acquisition Leads to understand their regional vendor needs and provide support during the vendor selection or performance review process, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
-Stay abreast of legal and industry regulations, as well as best practices, related to talent vendor management. Ensure Sanofi's vendor management practices remain compliant and up-to-date.

**_Experience_**
+ Relevant experience in talent acquisition vendor management on global level
+ Experience in effectively manage vendors while tracking budgets and ensuring cost efficiency
+ Experience with HR systems such as Workday, Beamery, HireVue, and business intelligence tools
**_Soft and technical skills_**
+ Ability to Influence and collaborate with stakeholders in diverse, fast-paced environments
+ Excellence communication across all levels of leadership
+ Apply a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement
+ Deep understanding of TA programs, HR operations, and vendor performance in complex organizations
+ Strong project management skills with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
+ Proficiency in talent acquisition metrics, data-driven decision-making, and Power BI
+ Ability to develop and conduct training sessions while effectively communicating across teams
**_Languages_**
+ Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
**_Education_**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
+ Certification in Project Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a huge plus
