Job Description
The Application Developer will implement, maintain, and integrate ServiceNow S2PO within the organization. In this role, you will conduct moderately complex software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Participate in implementation of ServiceNow S2PO specializing in Sourcing, Procurement & Case Management.
+ Participate in compiling and prioritizing enhancements and defect resolutions to applications, implementing changes.
+ Conduct technical software testing and debug systems and software applications, as needed.
+ Perform standard and moderately complex configuration of ServiceNow S2PO.
+ Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed technical specifications.
+ Provides input into the strategy and technical planning of system/application technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards.
+ Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
+ Certification in ServiceNow S2PO.
+ Minimum of two years of related work experience.
+ Other minimum qualifications may apply.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Have experience in 2+ implementation cycles.
+ A clear communicator and collaborator.
+ Have a good understanding of processes on Sourcing & Procurement.

With limited supervision, this job performs moderately complex software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.

+ APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Sets up and maintains application configurations to meet user and business requirements while developing and recommending improvements to standard and moderately complex application support processes and procedures.

+ VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Handles positive relationships with software vendors and negotiates contracts.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum requirement of 5 years of relevant work experience. Overall 7 years of experience.
+ Working experience in Salesforce Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud; Salesforce certifications will be added advantage.
+ Working knowledge in Salesforce coding language - Alex, Visual Force, Lightning, and salesforce configuration
+ Experience in ITSM process management (Incident / Service Request / Change / Problem management etc.)
+ Experience in stakeholder management.

As an Application Developer, you'll work in a SCRUM/Agile software development environment where all team members share responsibility of design, development, test planning, test execution and documentation of the product.
**_What you'll do:_**
+ Design and develop the application/modules based on functional and system requirements.
+ Work closely with Business Analysts, Architecture team and other stakeholders to understand functional & system requirements, architectural integrity, and product quality respectively.
+ Document code consistently throughout the development process and create a detailed development estimate based on design documents and specifications shared by Business Analyst.
+ Escalate any issues to the project manager that will affect the delivery of the project
+ Assess Change Requests (CR's), conduct impact analysis, estimate and report to the project manager
+ Contribute to ongoing development of the software development team's processes, procedures and best practices.
**_Qualifications you'll need:_**
Education: Bachelor's degree (Mandatory) preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience:
+ Overall 3 years of software development in a technology firm.
+ At least 2 years in product development environment using Microsoft .Net.
+ Deep Knowledge of at least one of the following languages: C#, Javascript, ASP .Net, ADO .Net, Web Services and WCF.
+ Solid understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
+ Familiarity with source control management using GIT, VSS etc.
+ Technical knowledge of the least one major RDBMS, preferably SQL Server
+ Knowledge in Test Automation, Performance, Build Automation and Continuous Integration tools.
**_Bonus points if you have these:_**
+ Knowledge in design tools and other software tools like Visio.
+ Strong debugging skills
+ Possess analytical and structured thinking ability
+ Experience working in distributed teams and dynamic work environment.
