You'll work in the manufacturing unit, assembling industrial pumps—such as slurry pumps, hydrocyclones, and drum motors—ensuring they meet quality standards and are production-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble pump components according to engineering drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate basic assembly equipment: torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, etc.
- Apply mechanical fasteners (bolts, nuts, seals), align parts, and use precision tools like calipers.
- Conduct visual inspections and functional checks to ensure assemblies meet quality guidelines.
- Report defects or deviations to supervisors and flag quality issues.
- Maintain a clean workspace and follow workplace safety norms (PPE usage, workshop safety).
- Help with packaging, labeling, and staging finished units for QC or dispatch.
- Complete routine production documentation (job sheets, inspection logs, attendance).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- familiarity with assembly tools and ability to interpret mechanical drawings are pluses.
